  1. I once had a small mpeg of the 2600 Megamania ad with the band The Tubes in it, but I can't find it and a yahoo search brings nuthin' Anybody know where I might grab it again Mmmm?
  2. Wow So it was a homebrew cart! That's some cool stuff
  3. Who's the girl in the big picture on the previous page?
  4. As far as money spent/disappointment/hatred afterwards, I'd say Pac Man. Another stinker is Donkey Kong. Sure, there were worse games from smaller companies, but I wan't a rich kid and I couldn't buy a new game every week. I went for the faves and some turned out to be SHIT.
  5. It is a fact that Infogrames are French. This was a thread for the facts. And that's a fact, Jack
  6. Parker Brothers' ESB going apeshit when you leave it alone for about 10 minutes.
  7. Well, maybe Adventure was the first egg with the best story behind it (protest at Atari's policy of not crediting designers)
  8. Oh cripes, just TELL US what it is. It's not like we're all gonna go get a system, that game, and do it ourselves And what year are we talking about, here? How about a cart scan or a screenshot? How widely distributed was the demo cart? Ah, I still like Warren's. It's certainly the most popular among the first eggs.
  9. Ahhh...Daisy, as I remember her...and those lonnnng legs and I.... Oh yeah...um, did anyone witness that terrible reuinion show? Yeeesh
  10. "even though i endorsed the Slickstick and the starfighter i hated those two." Wait a minute......you mean you told us all a LIE
  11. Facts: Infogrames is evil and French.
  12. HEY! Let's take a closer look at that comment: You spelled "French" with a lower case "L." How dare you disrespect the French! FOR SHAME "Ave yew played zee Ataree tewday, Amereecans?" (well, there go my goat cheese rejoinders)
  13. Personally, I don't think grames is doing it to protect anything; they're just a sack of bastards who need to be immersed in a steaming vat of melted goat shit, IMHO
  14. I didn't wanna complain, but I'd like some more. Hee hee P.S. I mean, I LIKE them fine, I just want MORE and more variety
  15. They're like a lot of things in life: They gotta be warmed up first. Once that rubber stick gets a little heat in it, it feels more comfortable..... ....just like the rubber shorts I'm wearing now
  16. But, what about if someone posts something while drunk...HOW CAN THEY TAKE IT BACK??????
  17. Infogrames' Atari is like the original Star Wars movies we loved as kids: It's being screwed up by assholes and kicked around to make money. All I wanted was the original movies cleaned up on DVD. All we have are the special editions with MORE CGI crap added. That's the gizimick used to sell a few more copies, but abandons us true fans. I would like some EXACT copies of the old Atari games in a cute classic console, but NOT have the dickheads who own the name Atari to ATTACK the very hardest of hardcore fans of Atari shortly before they release it. I hate these Jerry Lewis-loving, cheese-eating choclatiers who are fucking with the LEGACY of a true American success story
  18. Lou Reed had a song back in the 80s called "My Red Joystick." In the video, it showed a Wico. (man, did I fit in FAST around here or what?)
  19. I ges yor rite. Peepul don't reelie neid to currekt there righting anyweigh
  20. Ah, crap...I spelled Infogrames wrong in my previous post. Where's the "edit" button around here?
  21. As long as "sticking around" means I can take that stick from the Infogrames Classic console and shove it up their ass. It's like the Ford Mustang, anyway...why can't we have a new engine in the classic old body? My classic console design woulda kept the old 2600 stick. So, I already have problems with that thing. After reading what infogrames did, I could hardly believe it. I don't know if I'm as good with debates and info as you guys, but I wanted to throw my 2 cents in. I mean, WHAT percentage of the global market are homebrews/hacks taking? Maybe 0.0000000000000000021% Inforgrames are sooooooo mean P.S. No, not in the area and....WOW that's quite a list
  22. Hi. I registered just so I can say that Infogrames is a despicable, slimy, good-for-nuthin' company populated entirely by thieves and whores. Thank you
