  1. Got mine at Zellers. Sold out last Xmas and sold out fast. Saw a few at Wal-Mart and never saw any more.
  2. Never had the money. Closest I came was getting the Genesis a few months after it was released with a Sears credit card, which I never paid off. I got a few games at launch, though. Most notably, FF 7,8, and 9. Fuck these launches. Always the same story. "So and so is betting the farm on this one, taking a loss, and hoping to make money with software sales–" Yeah, yeah, yeah...heard it all before. The PS3 is over $700 in Canada. What more can they say? "Enhanced graphics and sound..." WHATEVER.
  3. Curt's FB2 was more fun than any other re-issue I've ever played, my treasured PS1 retro discs included. Curt's the real deal. I played COMBAT today...full of all the gameplay, little bugs and fun I remember. Curt makes it, I'll pre-order it, just like I did for the FB2. Best 40 bucks I ever spent here in Canada. I thought the sticks would've died long ago, but they're still going...
  4. As long as Curt makes it, it's worth buying. That's all I care about.
  5. I'd buy that...for more than a dollar...HAPPILY!
  6. Yep, a Curt project FOR SURE, annnnnnnnd I want a DVD. Nothing fancy, just a DVD of old commercials and stuff. No biggie to produce.
  7. "They deserve our pity for their cluelessness, but not our money." Hee hee Yes, and I would like a Stern or Cinematronics, too.
  8. As I mentioned earlier, I wanted the FB3 to be an FB2 on steroids. All 2600, tons more games, maybe an old cart slot, maybe an included DVD of Atari ads and shit, maybe paddles... ...here's a quote for you... I'm such a hardcore Atari fan, I'll buy one even if it's NOT WHAT I WANT! Taaaaa-daaaah! Top THAT
  9. ...and other cool stuff. Scroll down. I can't get it to play, tho...probably my old OS9 Mac http://www.animehell.org/2005_06_01_animehell_archive.html
  10. PMP: Thanks. Even though the games are not perfect, it's a nice unit for the stick ALONE!
  11. Gimme a shot outta the box....please.
  12. Erg...they never get it quite perfect. For 20 bones it's okay, though. (grumble) still not perfect...
  13. PMP: So, it's original, super, PnP and Plus. Which ones are emulated? Which ones are simply approximations? Good? Bad?
  14. Yeah...heh heh...I think that's it. Star Wars: Dahhh-dahh-dah dah dah dahhhh dahh, dah dah dah dahhh dahhh, dah dah dah dahhh Omega Race: dah dah dah dahhh dahhh, dah dah dah dahhh dahhh(repeated, and faster) Thanks
  15. Very hard to narrow down to one..... Hmm.....there was a Baby Pac Man pinball hybrid at a Becker's near me. Always played it...a few years later, I worked a job in a small-time amusement machine distributor's place. He had a garage full of half-broken classics (and a lot of cheap, knock-off SHIT) and I always wanted to buy some of the good stuff, but I never had any money The guy who ran the place was a dick. He threw out a Baby Pac Man, and I salvaged the playfield. I wanted to turn it into a lamp or something, but I'm too lazy Aside from cute stories, Battlezone is a fine machine. BTW, I didn't know what Andy Capp's was, since I'm Canadian
  16. 70 bucks Canadian for Pac Man. It still makes me angry >
  17. You know the little tune that plays after you clear a board in Omega Race? Is that based on some other tune?
  18. Bump n Jump...awesome game....should be remade, too
