  1. I organize my games by label type, then alphabetically
  2. I had both systems when I was young. But I think the SMS was better because it has so many cool memories for me.

  4. I remember the day I got mine, I had scabbed up ALL the money I had (I was 15), and caught the bus down to Liverpool Dick Smith shop, I got there not long after it had opened, walked in got the console and Mario 64 to go with it. I took it home and attempted to hook it up when I realised I needed some little connecter thing because my tv was an old shit heap. My mother got me the connecter thing that night on her way home from work, then it was all good and spent hours and hours playing Mario. I was so obsessed by that game. Later on I got Mario Kart 64 and a few other games for it.
  5. I only have a few consoles that I have owned since new. They are my PS2, Game Cube, Xbox, Xbox 360, original gameboy and gameboy pocket.
  6. Atari consoles are just always full of dust. But about a year ago I got a NES cleaning cartridge cleaning kit off ebay. It was still in its box, but it had been opened before. When I opened the box a coackroach came running out of it.

  9. When I was young we had only one tv, it was just lucky that I am an only child. Then when I was 10 I got my own tv for my bedroom, to play video games on.
  10. I have my NES games carts in a large plastic storage box. My atari carts are in a wooden and glass storage from Domayne furniture shop, it cost me like $800 or something but it fits the cartridges perfectly. My mega drive carts are in a cadboard box, my master system games are in a cupboard in the garage. My N64, SNES, XBOX, PS2 and game cube games are all in drawers in my entertainment units.
  11. I once won, in a lot off ebay a controller that was made out of the rubber part of a bike handle. It had one button on the end, so you would press it with your thumb. I threw it away as it looked really suspect and would of probably electricuted whoever used it. I just wish that I had taken a photo of it.
  12. I have a Sunnyvale PAL light sixer. It did have heavy sixer guts, but I had to replace the guts as it was not working properly. I have attached a scan of the serial number. atari.bmp
  13. I just organise mine easily by major label variations, such as red label atari, silver label etc...
  14. The first Atari I ever got was at a garage sale with about 80 to 100 boxed games. For $100 AU. This is what got me into collecting Atari stuff!!! This is the only time I have ever found anything Atari at a garage sale.
  15. I have got numerous atari systems off ebay that have been broken . The worst one was a woodgrain console that had no screws in it , so was in peives and was poorly wrapped to boot!!! Obviously it didn't work so I just had to throw it out. The seller had listed it as a fully working console in good condition.
  16. I have the same Mario Bros cartridge as that, it is a HES one.
  17. I am 24 years old and live in Sydney, NSW. I have been collecting Atari for about 2 years.
  18. I like retro gaming, simply because the game play is better
  19. What sort of rarity would a pal Burgertime game be???
  20. Just the other day I got some new 2600 games from the markets, anyway one of the games has no labels on it. But does have M Network imprinted on one side and on the other side of the cartridge it has MATTEL INC. The game screen has ladders on it that you have to climb up and down, with white lines that fall down when you walk on them. Its a pal game from Australia. Can anyone please help me identify the name of the game???
