Galaxian and fastfood. It sounds tragic, I know!!!

Collecting computer game systems is also both fun and the nostalgia for me. I collect for the atari 2600 because I never had one growing up and because its one of the best systems for its time. I collect for the NES and SNES because I have such fond memories playing those consoles as a young child.

Can anyone please help me by telling me what is wrong with the console I got off ebay last week. The picture is perfectly clear, but every time I use it, it makes an annoying buzzing sound, this is the only sound that comes from the tv when this consoles plugged in. I have tried different rf cables but it does'nt help. My other atari consoles work fine on the tv as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated...............

I would say that about 75% of my collection is from ebay and the rest is from the wild. When I found a 4 switch woody and about or so games in great condition with all the manuals and boxes for $100 AUD. It was by far the best find I have had in the wild.

My gameboy tetris doesn't work at all anymore even after cleaing it

The first console I had was a Colecovision, that my father had bought for me from a garage sale when I was 5.

As far as vintage systems go, the only ones that I have still from when they were new is the original black and whit game bot and also the silver game boy pocket. All my other consoles have died or I stupidly got rid of them when I was a kid. My NES and SMS2 both died on me, so were thrown out. My N64, SNES, SMD2, Colecovision were all binned. So now I have spent the last year or so rebuying them all, with all the games.

My favourite game ever would have to be Super Mario Bros 3. I also often play Alex the kidd in miracle world on SMS2. Galaxian on Atari 2600 and Sonic 1 and 2 on SMS.

I really enjoyed both Mario and Sonic. But Mario gets my vote as I still play it now and really enjoy it!!!

The longest I can remember playing a game continiously for, was at my cousins house we played wonder boy on the SMS for about 8 hours atleast. But it is possable that I played mario bros 3 or alex the kidd in miracle world for loger when I was a chiild.

The game was made by rainbow vision a PAL company, its about a rarity 4 in Australia.

The game I feel proudest about finishing is Alex the kidd in miracle world (the game built into the SMS2). It took me ages to master it!!!

About 18 months ago I bought an Atari 2600 woodgrain console from a garage sale. The man said that he got it from Singapore. It is exactly the same as a normal 4 switch woodgrain except for the little red light in the top right hand corner. Can anyone tell me anything else about this console???

The 32 in 1 game cartridge is common but there is also a PAL 16 in 1 cartridge which is less common, about a 7 or 8 in rarity.

This year I got another 2600 console, but it has a stella adapter with about 5 games and also one of those spectravideo computmate keyboard. Which I am very pleased with it also had a heap of games both common and some not so common. Most definately that was one of my better presents!!!

I am from Sydney and have a variety of consoles they are: Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Master System 2, Sega Mega Drive, Super Nintendo, Nintendo Game Cube, Atari 2600, Game Boy, X box and Play Station 2. Although at the moment I am focusing on collecting for the Atari 2600.

I have been adding some photos of my carts to the list over the past few days and will add heaps more when I receive this massive lot of games I got from ebay. jadedoz

I have just received a lot of PAL games from ebay. The Frogger game appears to be a pirate as it has no writting on it except for the title Frogger. The end label is black and has Frogger in upper case letters. Can anyone tell me what they think ?????

I have seen King Kong in PAL format, in Australia

I have a PAL light 6 switch and it has the hole and imprint for channel select, but no actual switch.

I am always willing to help out, scanning carts, manuals and boxes. Just let me know where to send them and what you need.

I own a PAL light sixer, manafactured in Hong Kong which I opened a few weeks ago to clean and it had 24 August 1981 (the day after I was born) imprinted on the metal part of the board.

The original is the best, without a doubt. Second would be a sega controller!!!!!!!!!!!
