  1. Thaks ill look into those sticks then
  2. I shall lookup what that cuttle cart is as im a noob on atari. And yeah ive lucked out on that thrift store. Ive found a toploader nes for about 7 a virtual for similar price.
  3. Hello AA a new member here and first post and I just wanted to share my first ever 7800 console I found at a thrift shop for $3.99 with ac adapter a game and 2 controllers late last year. Ive been learning a lot on this site and turns out I have one of the early El Paso models serial number 008072. Now I'm hoping to fully mod and restore to enjoy its library of which Ive yet dive into. I just recently got the longhorn engineer av/svideo mod(one of the last boards before he sold out) I got the board bare and I've been adding the component to it. it is still missing 3 capacitors and the male to male 14 pin header all of which I cant find anywhere. Just for good measure I will be changing out the 7800's board capacitors (2200mfd & 2x 220mfd) and the 7805 voltage regulator. Im still debating to change out the power LED and Ive already changed the 4 tactile buttons since I've heard they are known for going out. Once all that is done Ill look into a flashcart for the system if such thing exists. I also wanted to change the top metal label, but best electronics sold out so I guess thats out of the question. I will how ever be adding a European Os upgrade kit. Is there anything else I would do to the system or any specific controller I should grab to fully enjoy the gaming experience? Ive heard of modded genesis controllers and I have extra so I might look at the pin out and give it a go.
