I had a snipe for $210 for this but I guess it just wan't meant to be. I think pretty soon I'll be able to trade some proto's for an out of control. [hint, hint] Oh, CPUWIZ, are you going to hold on to your loose OOC? Just curious.

Does anyone know anything about the atari on a chip project? Was it abandoned or is it still being worked on? -

Who made the side offer on this?
MattG/Snyper2099 replied to holygrailvideogames.com's topic in Auction Central
I've been offering upwards of $200 for a loose copy with no bites for over a year now. Since it appears to me in the picture of the auction that THAT OOC is sealed, I think it sold for the right price. As long as it's kept as is. -
I'd have to say the item I am most proud of is my asteroids arcade cabinet. If I had to sell everything else, it's probably the only item I'd keep. As far as carts go, I'm proud of my prototype collection since I've found 3 protos in the wild (in 3 different cities!) and have grown my collection to nearly 20 different titles (most released). My interest in prototypes is less involved than say Tempest's but, I still enjoy having them and the history that comes along with them. I'm proud of my NES collection of unliscensed games too. It's hard for me to exactly say why but I'm proud of it none-the-less. Enough ramblings for now... off the the kings of leon show.

Waterworld instructions found!
MattG/Snyper2099 replied to MattG/Snyper2099's topic in Auction Central
No, the starting bid was $9.99. I think people were turned off by the fact that almost all of the manuals were glued to pieces of paper. Also, the is some slight wrinkling on most of the manuals in this lot. There were some good ones too. Other rarer instructions I got from this lot included: Front Line Blue atari log book Blueprint complete set of atari force comics Bugs Space shuttle a ton of activision instructions too (I didn't need a single one though ) There was a also a laser gates, turmoil, and fantastic voyage but they were either all cut up or had bad glue/water damage on them. I lucked out on the waterworld docs since there was only a little bit of glue used to hold them in place. Oh, this reminds me. Does anyone have the Swordquest comic #1 they want to trade? -
I don't know if anyone remembers the auction on ebay about a week ago where instructions were glued into a binder. There were over 100 instructions in the lot... Anyway, the auction ended with no bids. I kindly offered to buy the lot from the seller after the auction ended with no bids. Now I'm the happy owner of Swordquest waterworld instructions, hint sheet, and comic book. Lucky for me, most of the glue came off without a trace.

This fool makes poyan/gamerthegreek look intelligent. -
Tony makes a good point. Music Machine and Obelix should both be 9's IMHO.
-
I think the NTSC one should be a 9. It's about as rare as q bert's qubes.

Who here has built a MAME cabinet?
MattG/Snyper2099 replied to Room 34's topic in Arcade and Pinball
I've built 2 MAME cabinets and am working on a third. Feel free to E-mail me if you need any help. Oh, a friend of mine built a cab. and chose to go with the Xarcade controller and is very happy with it. They are very well built for the money IMHO. The only alternative to Xarcade that I think is worthwhile is the I-Pac interface. -
I have this problem too but it is with Colecovisions. I now have [counting...counting] 2 working colecovisions, 5 broken cv's, 12 cv controllers, 8 power supplies, 2 cv 2600 adapters, 4 super action controllers, 20 duplicate games, 5 games I have 3 of, 2 games I have four of (turbo and donkey kong), a roller controller, and then I have 2 turbo controllers. Where the hell did I come up with all this stuff?

Quadrun works like this with it's levels of play and difficulty. I don't know how many different "enemies" there are in Quadrun either.
