I know this is a longshot but I wanted to know if anyone had any info on the internal components of the remote 2700 type controller. I've heard it's a close cousin to the 2600 remote control unit made by Atari but I was wondering about secific components they used. I know Atari scrapped the 2700 idea and just released the add-on 2600 remote joysticks.

Wow, I wanted to mention that these are the exact same pages I use and I buy them from a sports card place too That is so cool that someone else is just as crazy-mad as me. I even collect 2600 instruction variations. (Man I feel embarrased and crazy now...)

Check out this one of a kind item I received today.
MattG/Snyper2099 replied to CPUWIZ's topic in Atari 2600
Um, I don't think that artwork's from a box. It looks like a manual to me. -
Well, I don't know what they are worth but here's what I'd be willing to pay for them: Springer $50 Espial $25 Polaris $25 Frogger II $25 Frankenstiens' $20 Bump junp $10 I really only need the springer for my colection. Let me know if you want to sell.

Thanks for the support guys. I really would like to email this jackass but, they seemed so absentminded the first time I tried to make a transaction with them, I really don't think I'll even get a response. I don't know about emailing all the bidders. That seems kind of extreme. I just didn't want anyone on atariage to get screwed like I did. I don't remember the exact amount I paid for this lot ($150-$200?) since almost exactly 1 year ago. I just know I was super pissed when this game wasn't with the system and their response was, "I guess we forgot it." I did get a refund for this auction since I used paypal. I didn't want it to seem like I didn't get my money back, just that this seller misrepresented themselves and took advantage of my "generous" offer. I almost tempted to bid $25,000 on this auction and not pay for it, then give them a negative feedback. I have 100% positive feedback though and don't want to risk that...

Well, I hadn't noticed this auction but I sure am glad someone pointed it out to me. I would like to discourage everyone from bidding on this item. Here is why. Last year this seller put up an auction with two games and a 2600 system on ebay. This game was in the picture of the auction as well as the description. I emailed this seller BEFORE anyone bid with an offer that they accepted. I was sure to insure the package. When I recieved the package this game was not included. I was very specific about the contents to be package carefully but this game was not in the box. When I emailed this seller she stated that she "thought" she included the item but she guesses she "made a mistake". Well, she sure made a mistake alright. Now I am really pissed off. She clains she lost this item and now I discover she intentionally left it out of the package she shipped to me. This bitch ripped me off. GRRRRRR! Below is a picture from the auction that was origionally posted. You can see the laoner if you look really closely. Also wanted to mention this IS the cart that I was supose to own but don't as discussed here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=17596 Man this really ticks me the hell off!

How much do you want to bet this is a repro ?
MattG/Snyper2099 replied to CPUWIZ's topic in Auction Central
I emailed this guy a week ago asking what condition the game was in and what release it is and never even recieved a reply. I fairly certain it's a repro. He is probably trying to pass it off to an unsusprectng newbie as the real deal. Sad thing is, if it's a newbie, they may not figure out it's a repro even when they recieve it. Sad, sad, sad. -
Here's the 2600 Sears titles I have available: (All labels are text unless noted) Checkers Black Jack Yars' Revenge (pic label) Maze (pic label, screw hole) Dare Diver Gunslinger Breakaway IV Target Fun Dodger Cars (label has a ripple) Stellar Track (label has a ripple) Circus Here's the ones I need: 3d Tic Tac Toe Brain Games Cannon Man Code Breakers Demons to Diamonds Memory Match Math Maze Mania Math Gran Prix Othello Soccer Slots I don't care what version of the games I'm getting (pic or text is fine). I hope I can get some I need since most people don't seem to want to spend any money on sears titles, myself included. I figured that trading them is the best solution for everyone.

20th Century Fox Logo Molded onto Cartridge Bottom
MattG/Snyper2099 replied to Atari Rescue Group's topic in Atari 2600
My copy of Porky's does have the logo on the back. All my copies of mash do too. I have all the 20th cent. fox games and those are the only two with the logo. Others findings??? -
My rarest NTSC, US released 2600 game is probably x-man or possibly quadrun. Those are the most valuable 2 for sure... I don't really own an official atariage 10 yet but, I know I will soon. My rarest PAL game has to be Mangia. My rarest cart in my collection is hard to judge though. I have a bugs bunny proto, but who knows if it is the real deal. Was purchased in '96 so I tend to think that it is... Have a cubicolor, don't really count that though. Have a real activision enduro proto, some other released ones. I know third party 2600 protos are considered very rare using today's standards. My rarest complete game is Master Builder. My rarest instructions are for the game Q bert's Qubes. Not as good as a CIB video life but I'm trying here.

Anyone got a complete Starpath Rabbit Transit??
MattG/Snyper2099 replied to landsmarra's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I don't have a rabbit transit yet either... Been looking for that one for a long time. I remember seeing a sealed one on ebay about a month ago go for way to much IMHO. I'm looking for a loose copy (or at least with the cassette holder insert. -
Actually, bugs bunny... That's BEFORE it was released in Philly... ehem!

Ever since I can remember (7 years back) berenstain bears was always considered a "nine" by most collectors. Now, I believe it is not as rare as we once belived. Still, it is vary hard to find it in the wild since it was a third party educational title with limited release.

Atari 2600 Malagai *partially* sealed
MattG/Snyper2099 replied to digitalpress's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Funny you should mention that MMF, I have a repro of this game. Way out of my price range for the real deal. Maybe if I could find a loose one for $200 but I don't see that happening anytime soon. -
Rarity is the collective thoughts of many and I hold this site as well as it's rarity guide and it's members that contribute to that guide in the highest reguard. But, if you think THE GUIDE HERE ON THIS SITE should be written in stone, you are highly misguided. There can be no progress if things are final.

Do you honestly think I'm trying to say, "Hey I found 3 rarity 5's... It must be a four, not a five." You're delerious man! Read my thoughts here if you don't believe me... http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=22782 I agree with you more than I think you're aware of man.

@CPUWIZ, Man, I wish I had a quadrun manual. I paid that for a loose Quadrun! Please let me know about any rarer manuals you may have on my wantlist. I'm still itching to spend $$$.
