I think hero should be a 4. I've had 3 of them over the years. Although my first one was hard to find, I think it cost me $10.How many times must I say this..
Just because ONE person was able to get a good deal on a game and even find a couple doesn't mean that's the over all rarity in all states and areas!
Just because if by some chance I found 20 Quadruns at my local flea market for 3 cents a piece doesn't mean it's not still a rare game it just means I got lucky.

Who's trying to say this? A rarity 4 is a ririty 4, is a rarity 4. I've found three in 7 years. "So, what you talkin' bout Willis?"
@CPUWIZ, I'd rate a MIB HERO as a 7. I've found the instructions twice but never found a box yet... There's still hope though.

Yes I would. But, the offer would have to almost buy me one of the games I've listed since Tomarc is one of my best carts I have to trade at the moment.
-
Here's some stuff I have available. Everything is loose unless otherwise noted:
2600
GI Joe (color label)
James Bond 007
Smurfs save the day (screw holes)
Tomarc the barbarian (mint)
Gas Hog (PAL)
Stunt Man
Tanks but no tanks
Dishaster (end label tatty)
Submarine Commander
Hero
King Kong (+instructions)
The Earth Dies screaming
Raquetball
Spy hunter (mint, very nice label!)
Colecovision
Miner 2049'er
Mr. Do's Castle
Congo Bongo
These games below are the one's I am really looking for hardcore
:Party Mix
Rabbit Transit
Springer
River Patrol
Out of Control
Bachelor Party
Swordwuest Waterworld
Chase the Chuckwagon
Bumper Bash
I have cash to offer besides just my trade page. I am willing to work on a partial trade including cash for any and all of the above games.

Well, the most I've ever paid on e-bay for a single atari 2600 cart was $92 for Q bert's qubes. But, the most I've ever paid for one is a different story.

-
Hey, I don't think that was a bad price at all. I don't think I would have bid on it just because of the really bad picture. I'll offer $90 to any atariage member with a Waterworld for sale in good condition. It's the last Atari brand game I need.

Ok, I know I'm leaving out titles here but these are the NTSC 2600 games I believe were sold in Canada but never saw sale in the US. Please feel free to add to the list or disagree.

Obelix- Only found in Canada
Mangia- Also only found in Canada
Here's where things get uncertain...
Bumper bash- This was supose to be available from a company called Bondwell but I doubt it ever was. I'm going with a Canadian only release here as well.
Compumate- I'm talking about the spectravideo one. Anyone ever see this thing in the states?
All four Bomb releases- These only pop up in Canada too. They even have a sticker that says "qc passed" or something like that.
That's all, for now.

@Megamanfan, you gat a really good deal on that C64 tapper!

Bumper Bash is the best.
-
I'm waiting for the 2600 on a chip so I can build myself a second, better portable 2600.
-
I am missing:
River Patrol
and... Springer
[Now I have Jawbreaker]
Have all the other NTSC tigervision games though.

-
You wouldn't have to open up the color bar generator cart since it has a unique casing as well as blue matte label. I know what a real one looks like and it would be very difficult to reproduce a CBG cart.
-
I think I need exactly 47 NTSC carts (not counting the 12 Sears games I need) to complete what I consider a 'complete' US collection. Every cart I need is a rarity 6 or higher.
I think my budget is getting in the way too.
I've only spent over $100 on three different carts in my 2600 collection. But lately, it's just getting too rich for me. I can't spend $400 on a cart that doesn't even have a game on it. (color bar generator)
Even though some of the titles I need were only available in Canada, most US collectors consider them to be US releases if they are findable in NTSC format. Which, BTW, I don't really agree with.
I don't really understand this.
I was also trying to get at least one box from every company for a while but, that is getting to be expensive as well. One very important aspect of my collection I like to mention is that I own ~360 instructions of the ~450 carts in my collection.
-
I have an extra death star battle. Send me a list of INTV carts you have and I'm sure we could work out a trade.

I would like to pick up a CTCW but prefer one with instructions... That's probably why I've not bought one over the past five years. Megamanfan, I think the price is reasonable. CPU, does yours have with instructions by chance?
-
Oh man, I want the Galaxian one! I always take junk that dosn't work.

-
DK also takes dibs for first multi-leveled game (4 diff screens)..I'm fairly certain that Gorf predates Donkey Kong as being the first multiple level arcade game.
-
Eric, please let me know what extra instructions you come up with out of this lot. I'm just crazy about those 2600 manuals... itch-itch-scratch-scratch.

-
I am an Activision junkie. I have all the Activision titles in my collection as well as the PAL titles liscensed from Absolute. I'm in as an Activision phreak! My favorite are the Avtivision instructions though.

-
I think it is a typo. Mine both say PAL and there are both NTSC???

-
Well, back when thiswas $1.19, I was going to bid $25 on it. $65 does seem a little outrageous, especially for a sears cart ughhh!

-
I know of about 6 other collectors of various classic video games in my city. Cincinoyti (Tony) and my good friend Bill come to mind. There is also Scott, Tom, Jim, Patrick (who is an INTV nut), and there are a couple others I've seen in the wild at various fleas and thrifts and chatted with but I do not know thier names.
-
Very nice shot CPU! But I want to see a complete spectravideo shot! I'll have to post a picture of all my parker brothers carts and instructions too. I still have to find a damn sky skipper manual though.

rarity
in Atari 2600
Here's my input:
I bought my cosmic commuter from another collector about four years ago. I couldn't find one on ebay back then. I really do think it is correct as a rarity five.
As for Subteranea, I've found two loose copies over the course of seven years. Neither was from ebay and I overpaid for one of them. I think the rarity is correct at a 6.
I still don't own a waterworld...

Wow, I've never heard of a shrinked Boing! That is one of my all-time favorite games for any system!
