Well, you've got two at rarity 9 and one at rarity 10. I recall a boxed Condor Attack popping up on eBay recently and it went for several hundred dollars (can't recall the amount exactly). It seems like there are more people interested in the rarer stuff right now who also have the money to bid seriously on them. Karate and Condor Assault will go for big money each. I'm guessing easily over $200 on each title, but I don't know what the current market seems to command. No doubt there are other people here who could give you a better idea.

I have a naked 2600 cart. That close enough? 842413 Sorry. I actually have the 2600 Zaxxon CIB. Definitely looking for the 5200 version.
-
Really some nice stuff in there, particularly if it is NOS and even more so if the carts are NTSC. Let us know if your friends are willing to sell & ship to the US.

I've noticed that some places carry the "monster" cereals seasonally - especially BooBerry - whereas others tend to stock them year round. (Personally I'm more of a BooBerry type o' guy.)
-
I like manuals and boxes, and I prefer to "complete" bare carts with them when possible.
-
If they happen to have a box for Raiden, please let me know.
-
I really like your pics! I may have to bid on a few...

What's a loose silver label Gravitar typically going for? I looked up the boxed one on eBay recently and it went for around $150.

If you can find any copy of Breakout 2000, loose or boxed, for $20 or less, please buy me 5 copies.

Get to a Game Crazy. They are having a sale right now, all NES, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and N64 titles are $5 (five dollars) each. That's a nice way to start your collection.

I am a player before a collector, and although I've crossed over into the collecting side of the market, I still open all my boxed carts, mainly because I want to play the games (no matter how atrocious they may be). It is pretty fun to find a NOS game from, say, 1982 and know that you are the first to open the box. Once or twice I'm glad I opened the box because the label on the cart needed some glue (Parker Bros. anyone?). As some people have already suggested, opening the box is a little bit of nostalgia, particularly that new plastic smell so unique to Atari brand games (and original Kenner Star Wars figures).

Under this seller, he has 2 auctions listed as "To Come"...perhaps eBay was running a special listing deal like they sometimes do, and he slapped up some placeholder auctions that he can go back and revise.

What the... Side deal on Fun With Numbers pic.. ARRRRGGGHHH
Zwackery replied to Spirantho's topic in Auction Central
Haha.... I was being sarcastic... would any one of us here actually want to play Fun with Numbers? Anyway, like I said earlier, this is one of the last I need - which implies I already have it - which I do. To answer your first question, it's worth about $20-$25 unboxed, sealed in box we're talking probably about $35-$40, unless two people really want it in which case I could see it going over $100 quite easily. 831303 Why doesn't the AA rarity guide reflect this (perceived) discrepancy in label versions? (I ask out of curiousity.) Also, do people generally (try to) match up a pic label with the b&w box as a "set"? -

I was watching it and thinking about bidding, but something about his description of the box being a little mashed and lack of picture made me hesitant, and then when I saw the price shoot up, that was the end. BTW, if anyone has a CIB Zaxxon for sale, let me know...

Actually, I found one more set of box'n'docs if anyone is interested... Contest "rules" still apply...
-
Well, the last of the boxs and docs went out in the mail this afternoon. Many thanks to all who responded. May your Journey Escape forever rock the 2600.

I bought a big box of empty boxes from a guy on eBay, and among the lot was a boatload of Journey Escape boxes. Mixed in were boxes for various titles like Space Jockey, Coco Nuts, Eggomania, Cosmic Creeps, and so forth - and yes, all those boxes are now gone - but most of the boxes were Journey Escape. Now, this guy should have mentioned that almost all the boxes also contained instructions, so it was a nice bonus to a pretty cheap deal. Well, in the course of going through the boxes, I noticed a few notes either taped to the boxes or written directly on them that indicated that these boxes all contained carts that were returned as "non-working," probably to a Montgomery Wards or Sears. I wonder what happened to all the supposedly non-working carts - maybe returned to the manufacturer for credit? - and through the course of trading and whatnot I finally whittled down the original batch of boxes to the last lonely group of Journey Escapes, but I couldn't bear to just pitch them (and trying to sell 10 JE boxes on eBay? ha!) and so I thought, well, other gamers have done nice things for me in the past, so let me play Robin Hood after a fashion.
-
Well, the game is alright, but not nearly as wild as the planet.
-
"That rabbit has got a mean streak a mile wide!" Oh well. Let me see what I have left around, but I am interested in those IM instructions.
-
Zing! I like it. Stuff is in the mail.
-
The first two sets of boxes and docs are on their way!
-
Hmmm, well, I've got nothing to trade right now as I put a bunch of stuff on eBay yesterday.

How long has your Jaguar passion run? How far has it to go?
Zwackery replied to justclaws's topic in Atari Jaguar
I picked up my Jag 10 years ago this very day. For $275, I got a package deal that included 1 Jaguar System with Cybermorph (1 controller, power supply, RF switch, all original packaging and manuals), 1 extra Jag controller, 1 Composite Video cable, and the following games (all CIB except Raiden): Alien vs. Predator, Cannon Fodder, Doom, Iron Soldier, Raiden, and Tempest 2000. I went on to get most of the carts. I enjoyed getting great deals from the Tiger Direct packages and when KB Toys started to liquidate their Jag stock. Every year I treat myself to a new game or two. It's a fun little system and I felt the some sort of weird customer loyalty in buying it when it came out. (BTW, if anyone has a spare box and/or docs for Raiden, please drop me a PM.) -
I have 10 empty boxes and matching instructions for Data Age's Journey Escape (Atari 2600). If you have a naked cart, this is the perfect chance to complete your title. The rules of this contest are easy: 1) Respond publicly to this thread by completing the following sentence: Journey Escape rocks my Atari because ________________________. 2) Then PM me with your name and mailing address, and the box 'n' docs will be mailed to you for FREE. Note that the quality of boxes tends to vary, but the earlier you respond the better condition your box will be.
