  1. So after doing a recap and the FRAM mod on my CDX as well, I also had to access the memory manager and memory (ha) served me saying hold down C while booting a CD game. Which worked, and also works with a six button Retro-bit wired controller.
  2. Breathing - who here thinks this is a good idea or is it overhyped? Do you prefer it? Is it really better than not breathing? Anyone notice how important it is? Here's my proof, but trying to convince people about this is like a brick wall! I know I just did for the first time, but people please stop replying in a sensible manner to these stupid topics.
  3. No. The libretro Stella core has no input devices for it.
  4. Yes, I was talking about the perceived video issue comment, not the save key.
  5. This can be alleviated by enabling Phosphor mode in Stella (using a USB/OTG keyboard setup) but that causes additional performance issues for the already currently inadequate performance of the 2600+ with any demanding games (including Mappy / ARM shown)
  6. Yes, as I've also said multiple times.
  7. Which is why I've said multiple times to use them : )
  8. The 2600+ USB-C port is not USB-C compliant. You need a USB-C to USB mini adapter and a USB mini OTG cable, not a USB-C OTG.
  9. Correct. This is why you need terminal access. Once you have that you can launch all the roms you want from USB or use Spanner's script.
  10. A USB storage device is accessible via the 2600+ USBC port You need to solder a USB/serial device onto the 2600+ debug serial header however to access the OS shell via terminal.
  11. XLs ever having anything from Atari on the shield to support a keyboard is interesting. I've seen the inside of quite a few XLs and have never seen that.
  12. Yep, that made my hands cringe in fear ๐Ÿ˜„
  13. Yes. Kind of. No. Now you have official answers
  14. Thanks, my non working Crossbow is C100339.
  15. Bad simple scanline filters are bad, good complex scanline filters (which do exist) are not. Same with nicely done phosphor mask effects. Both when done correctly represent how games of the period were actually presented and seen by the vast majority of the population.
  16. NTSC Crossbow very much not working: 2024-01-24 17-46-56.mp4
  17. I can tell in a fraction of a second that is the wrong (i.e. PAL) speed : D
  18. I can hear the music as I read the title.
  19. Robot Tank (works, yay) For M-Network not listed (all working): Adventures of Tron Air Raiders Armor Ambush Astroblast (loads, no control) Dark Cavern Frogs and Flies International Soccer Lock N Chase Space Attack Super Challenge Baseball Super Challenge Football Kool Aid Man NTSC white shell Time Pilot not working: 2024-01-20 10-06-46.mp4
  20. Request for Albert - new subforum for THECXSTICKMYSTERY ๐Ÿ˜„
  21. My habitual deshielding is finally officially validated! ๐Ÿ˜„
  22. Nice. The first thing I did after figuring out that I could load roms from USB/OTG via terminal was to create a launch script : D Regarding Champ Gamesโ€™ ARM-based titles, I have loaded them previously - the 2600+ currently does not have the performance needed to run them full speed.
  23. It's because Little Brown Desktop wouldn't have sounded right.
