Is this game out yet?!?! Jeesh! Development time is taking longer than Duke Nukem Forever! Actually, a re-work of Bump-n-Jump would be better.
-
KLAX?! Wow! Also, there's a 2600 (and I think Atari 800 computer) in there too.
-
has anyone thought of this?...
Gregory DG replied to minorleagueguy's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
How about a Flashback that can read ROMs off of a flashcard? -
No but there are plenty of commentators saying it should be on there. People are brainwashed...

History of Videogames Time.com
Gregory DG replied to cimerians's topic in Classic Console Discussion
People have short memories. Especially people who were born "AA" (After Atari.) -
Atari was so ubiquitous back then it was like having a generic "DVD Player." Coleco thought, "Hey, let's just create our own adapter so we can add Atari to our list of desirable features." The last time I remember this happening was Bleem for the Dreamcast that allowed it to play PS2 games. Can't think of any other instance though.

Late November of 2014? Might have to attend since I'm only 60 minutes from Orlando!

What did you think of Mattels gaming comeback?
Gregory DG replied to Jakandsig's topic in Classic Console Discussion
One of the most horrible devices ever created. To call it a games console is an insult to real game consoles. -
Hm...Wondering if this will work with the Retron 5? Does it work on other multi-systems?
-
The story says it's faulty connectors. So, it's trying to be as accurate as possible for NES!
-
Yeah, got Skyrim on Steam for $7.50. Deal is over today I think.
-
Why don't they automatically pause the game when the controllers disconnect / batteries die? Seems like a common sense thing to do.

Can't wait for this, but... been delayed again.... http://www.engadget.com/2013/11/28/hyperkin-retron-5-game-console-launch-delay/

Nintendo Training Video 1991

The 2nd guy returning the Gameboy is John Billingsley, more famously know as Dr. Phlox from Star Trek Enterprise. -
Is Solaris the best 2600 game graphics-wise?
Gregory DG replied to NinSEGA's topic in Atari 2600 Programming
Define "best." Fastest? Most colorful? Most varied? I love Solaris, but I think there are some other games that might compete for best graphics title. BMX Airmaster, Track & Field, Road Runner, Kung Fu Master, Pitfall II, California Games come to mind... Plus, Solaris is similar to Moonsweeper & Buck Rogers, so it's not like that style had never been done before. -
What's funny is that both the Xbox One and PS4 use the AMD "Jaguar" architecture. http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2013/11/the-xbox-one-and-ps4-share-similar-specs-but-the-devils-in-the-details/

Atari Flashback 4 Review
Gregory DG replied to Bill Loguidice's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Sorry I haven't read the entire thread, but did we figure out why they included the arcade-looking Space Invaders rather than the 2600 version? -
You Tube Video: The Black & White era
Gregory DG replied to almightytodd's topic in Arcade and Pinball
Nice video! Although I would have had the music more in the background. -
MAME...dang, sure would like to use it, but...
Gregory DG replied to atarilovesyou's topic in Arcade and Pinball
I had the hardest time keeping up with all the ROM changes. Everytime I'd update the program, 1/2 my ROMS would quit working. Eventually, I just stopped updating it.
