Atari was so ubiquitous back then it was like having a generic "DVD Player." Coleco thought, "Hey, let's just create our own adapter so we can add Atari to our list of desirable features."
The last time I remember this happening was Bleem for the Dreamcast that allowed it to play PS2 games. Can't think of any other instance though.

Hm... Was hoping for a less-specific cover for the Premiere. Guess I got used to that demo one that was shown.

Why don't they automatically pause the game when the controllers disconnect / batteries die? Seems like a common sense thing to do.

Define "best." Fastest? Most colorful? Most varied?
I love Solaris, but I think there are some other games that might compete for best graphics title. BMX Airmaster, Track & Field, Road Runner, Kung Fu Master, Pitfall II, California Games come to mind...
Plus, Solaris is similar to Moonsweeper & Buck Rogers, so it's not like that style had never been done before.

If my records and Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_Jaguar#cite_note-Jaguar_NA_RD-1) are correct there’s now less than a month until the JAGUAR’s 20th Launch (or better Retail) Anniversary on November 23rd. It looks like the XBOX ONE goes retail the same dayWhat's funny is that both the Xbox One and PS4 use the AMD "Jaguar" architecture.
Both the PS4 and the Xbox One's CPUs use the exact same number of computing cores and the exact same AMD "Jaguar" architecture.

Why didn't Atari just release the Jaguar beefed up like CoJag boards? Why did it take a complete console failure and a buyout for them to redesign the hardware somewhat and release it into the the coin-op market?
Cost.

I had the hardest time keeping up with all the ROM changes. Everytime I'd update the program, 1/2 my ROMS would quit working. Eventually, I just stopped updating it.

Is this game out yet?!?! Jeesh! Development time is taking longer than Duke Nukem Forever!
Actually, a re-work of Bump-n-Jump would be better.
