Do you mean this one? http://www.deceptions.net/superman/superma...on_fx_atari.htm Seems to work fine (for now.)
-
There is an error with the link. Could you check it for typos? Yeah, I changed it. It should now be: http://www.ataritimes.com/features/fea_atarifilms.html (I got rid of the "special" part.) Mind if I use those pics for the (url above) Atari On Film page? Thanks!

I've never understood why people proclaim Q3Radiant. I think it's too complicated (therefore it sucks.) QuArK is the best level editor.
-
I can't disagree with you there. It IS totally worth it!
-
I think it was Combat. I needed a screenshot for the Top 20 Atari Games article! Can't remember the last game I played on an actual 2600... I dug them up a few months ago to clean them and test them out again, but I can't remember the "last" game I played, because I played them all!
-
If games like Tunnel Runner could be done for the 2600, then something better could be done for the 7800. There are no true 3D games for the 7800. But I think Ballblazer gives a taste of what could have be done.
-
Sure, go ahead and use them. I'll see what other movies I have that you don't have picks for and I'll try to get some shots for you. Cool deal. I prefer non-zoomed in shots if possible. Thanks!
-
Cool! Can I use one of those shots for my Atari On Film article? http://www.ataritimes.com/features/fea_atarifilms.html (BTW, if anyone can get me other screenshots of Atari stuff in movies, I'd like them!)

These two boys have played on my Atari systems many times since, still enjoy it, and still ask to play again. In addition, AtariAge itself has a number of classical gamers from the younger set. I think there are a couple of factors that will cause a younger player to like Atari or not. 1. Their age. I think if they're over 15, forget it. They've already spent a lot of time with their friends who have GameCubes, PS2s, & Xboxes. 2. Have they played games before? If they've NEVER seen a video game before (this links with age too) they will go for whatever they see. My 5 year old nephew has one of those all-in-one NES games that has 54 crappy games on it. He loves it. It's his first video game experience. There are several other factors too, but I'm not awake enough to put much more thought into it right now.

Yes. The Lynx II is basically the same hardware as the Lynx I only spiffier. All Lynx carts work in either system. TAT Lynx Home http://www.ataritimes.com/lynx/ Lynx Reviews http://www.ataritimes.com/lynx/reviews/ The "Other" Lynx list. http://www.atariage.com/software_list.html...l?SystemID=LYNX

Me too. I didn't get it cheap, and I like the "bounce" way too much to let it go.
-
Why? The review is quite favorable and it got a final score of 85%. I think he probably just never noticed the blimp before.
-
I guess I thought there was no blimp in the 7800 version because of Brian Rittmeyer's review over at TAT. www.ataritimes.com/classics/reviews/rev_78rampage.html But I guess it does if your character walks off the screen completely and then you restart. BTW, anyone know Brian's email address thesedays?
-
Woohoo! Thanks!
-
Cool. Erm... (Psstt...) Anyone know where to get the ROM for it and Rampage?

As one who has programmed the Jaguar, wouldn't you say another reason not all Jaguar games are not A++ games is because the programming tools were not up to snuff? Or that the hardware was buggy? Or that just a few small additions to the hardware would have helped a lot? John Carmac wrote: If the Jaguar had dumped the 68k and offered a dynamic cache on the risc processors and had a tiny bit of buffering on the blitter, it could have put up a reasonable fight against Sony.
-
Thanks for the offer, but the point is to complete the box/manual/overlay I've already got with the actual cartridge! (Which I loaned out and never got back.)
-
Does anyone have a copy of JagDoom in good condition WITHOUT the box/manual? I've already got those, but I don't have the cart anymore. I'd like a complete set of the game, but no one seems to have loose copies of it. Let me know if you do!
-
The voting is finally over and the games have been tabulated! Come to TAT to check out the final list! http://www.ataritimes.com/features/fea_ataritop20.html (BTW, there isn't a game on this list that is less than a month old. Something that the other lists do on a constant basis.)
-
I think the Microvision was a 4-bit machine, but I'm not 100% sure on that one.
-
That's right. Because the Jaguar is really 240-bit! (64+64+32+32+16!)
-
Agreed. Breakout 2000 isn't good and it isn't bad. It's right in the middle.
-
I'll let you know when it's ready. I'll also include the next release of the DM map. (Which is just about as perfect as it can get now.)
-
I usually check both servers around 9pm EST every night.

I believe it was Spacemaster X-7. http://www.atariage.com/software_page.html...wareLabelID=473 I was taping it yesterday to get screenshots for my Atari on Film page. http://www.ataritimes.com/features/fea_atarifilms.html Here's Wormser playing the game
