I'm tempted to hit Portland retro gaming expo due to the TV series "Portlandia".

Not that I need to ask you guys, but $20 for an Inty (no details on which version or condition) with Astrosmash and Advanced D&D.... good deal or not.

Stopped by my local used game store on lunch and picked up a few 2600 commons that I did not have. Also picked up two mystery carts, one Parker Bros and one M-Network. Taking bets on what they will be.

Okay, I've learned my lesson about buying SCART cables from *ahem* 'discount' sources. Now that I've finally got a good one, it's like I'm seeing my Genesis games for the first time. A couple times today I've had to stop and assure myself that I was on the real thing instead of the genesis pack for ps3.

PRGE 2013 was amazing! What a great show. Definitely the best Retro Gaming con I've been to in many years. Portland is a beautiful city and I had a wonderful time.

Woah! Never realised just HOW slow Vista was. Have it running on my machine at the moment and you can really see the difference.

Fisher-Price really needs to bring back Construx building toys (remember those?). I'd like to get a few sets for my nephew, but the vintage sets from the 80s are selling for crazy money on eBay.

Thank you Florida, Kentucky, and Missouri, which are the first states that will require drug testing when applying for welfare. Some people are crying and calling this unconstitutional. How is this unconstitutional???? It's OK to drug test people who work for their money, but not for those who don't?… Re-post this if you'd like to see this done in all 50 states!!!
