  1. so far i have... a clear dreamcast a transparent blue PSX a transparent green N64 an artic (transparent light blue) GBA (i wanted a pink one, but i imported one, and it hadnt been released yet) a blue Neo-Geo Pocket Color a red virtual boy (theyre all red, but i still like it) everything else i have is beige or black, i like variety. It may not seem that important, but with all of these machines, color adds character. i wanted a purple cube, but i got a great deal on a used one soon after it was launched, so i had to settle for a black one. Maybe one day, ill get lucky and somebody will offer a straight up trade.
  2. even if its a small show, its really nice to chat with other people into old games in real life. The people i talk to that play games dont really play classic systems too much, to most of them, the NES is "old-skool". The 2001 Cinciclassic was a very small show, but i wholly enjoyed the day. The 2002 show was a bit of a shock to me, as there were a lot more people there. Yes, it was placed in a higher traffic area of the mall than the previous year (the 2001 show was in a storefront that was in an area of the mall that was nearly completely abandoned).
  3. i cant stand carts that dont have labels on top either. The 5200, Jag, and the N64 are annoying to store in a box or shelf, since you can only identify it from the front
  4. as long as it isnt black, id take it, but id really like a wood grain black and beige consoles are hella boring
  5. INTV corp did make a port of Stadium Mud Buggies for the NES (it was to be their only NES game), but ended up renaming it Monster Truck Rally or something lame like that. Its kindof funny to compare the two games
  6. i havent used one since high school... as far as my work with them, there wasnt any hard drives on our school machines, we load applications either from floppy disks, or from the Macintosh server. It is the closest to the mac, in terms that the applications we used, had a similar GUI setup (there was a paint program and some other applications that used a mouse), but there wasnt a GUI OS as far as i remember. i could be wrong though, it was a school, and even in those days, computers in school were stripped of many of their functions, since allowing kids to have full access to information may cause them to learn something
  7. i think gamestop throws a lot of jewel cases away, as they take up space behind the counter where the games are kept. All of their used games are normally kept in paper sleeves.
  8. plus they wouldnt have rights to arcade ports like Ms PacMan or Space Invaders. The lineup would begin to thin a bit...
  9. Marble craze would be great, but i couldnt imagine playing with two analog sticks btw, Ken has mentioned that a Mac version was most probable along with a PC version. keep in mind that the original 2600 action Packs were also released for Mac way back when
  10. i wouldnt know, as i find games that dont allow you to directly control the action very annoying (gyromite with ROB is another example)
  11. Pac Man 2 was made for the Genesis as well
  12. Dont forget Intellivision, Colecovision, GameBoy Advance, Gameboy Color, B/W Gameboy, Neo Geo Pocket Color, and im sure plenty of 80's computer ports such as the C64, and even Microsoft Arcade for Windows
  13. the xbox can double as a coffee table
  14. thats how companies grow to become nationwide chains, by cutting corners and ripping off as many people as they can.
  15. um, yeah, isnt that what the onion does? case in point
  16. ok i was thinking it was maybe an oddessy 2 cart
  17. orange label? you sure thats a vcs cart?
  18. This looks like a job for Super Paul !!
  19. also keep in mind the Apple I was never mass produced beyond a few dozen units made for a local computer store. The Apple II was the first computer to use a plastic mold casing. Wood grain needs to make a comeback, im tired of black, beige, and metal electronics they are void of personality, and the iMac candy trend was a brief fad that most people never bought into (i certainly did though ) I still wouldve loved it if somebody made a custom woodgrain iMac with a big metal switch instead of a power button.
  20. could it ever be worked into MAME?
  21. trade them into the Atari Age store for credit
