  1. Got a boxed copy of Condor Attack today (together with some nice boxed CX30 Paddle controllers ) with a strange misprint. The screenshot shown on the back was that of Atari's Video Pinball, not Condor Attack. I know that those pirate companies used whatever pictures where available but this is silly! Does anyone know if this is a common misprint? I think it is the Taiwan Cooper PAL version.
  2. Dit onderwerp is al een beetje oud, maar goed... Nog een Hollander erbij
  3. I've seen one for sale in Holland before, with a bunch of other carts. Cannot confirm if it was a PAL version, but the other cartidges certainly were.

    X-Man PAL value?

Buy cheap, sell high. Collecting is an expensive hobby...
  13. Found a PAL X-Man for sale, but want to know if the price is reasonable. Simply put, what is the value? Would 20 Euro be ok?
  14. How about Videogaming & Computergaming Illustrated Dec. 1983 page 9-10. Not exactly NY Times but still ...
  15. Indeed, and I like to add that the article stated the fact that Atari had a lot of problems selling cartidges. Warehouses overflowing with E.T.'s and PacMans (defective, unsaleable, unuseable.....)
  16. I know! Just want to share this because this story was written in December 1983. People believed everything in those days...
  17. Found this while browsing some old mags: "An Alamorgordo, N.M. city landfill was recently graced with some of the most expensive refuse in history: fourteen truckloads of brand-new Atari game cartridges and hardware. The games came from Atari's El Paso plant, which has ceased the manufacture of videogames. Guards kept spectators out of viewing range as trucks buried the equipment in cement. (........) Atari say that, contrary to press accounts, the cartridges were defective, unsaleble, unusable. We'd prefer to believe that. Any other explanation gets us down in the dump." X marks the treasure, start digging!!!
  18. I've got a K-Tel Spider Maze boxed with instructions. The manual is dated November 1982 and in Dutch !
