  1. Never mind. After a lot of trouble with the thing, I've decided to get a refund for it.
  2. My Odyssey 500 just got delivered today and it powers up just fine. The knobs, switches, and beeper all work, but I can't get the actual players to appear on the screen no matter what I do. The screen just shows the playfield, ball, and two "W" scores. Perhaps I'm forgetting something? Also, does anyone have/know where I could find scans of the manual?
  3. Wow, did my hand ever hurt after playing. Fun game, though. I got to the 14th and choked on those infernal monster trucks . However, the music is AWESOME.
  4. Has anyone had any problems with Lady Bug on a 2600 Jr.?
  5. I don't have Lady Bug yet, but I really want it. Also, it would be worth it to buy X3V0LuX just for the awesome storyline in the manual (not to mention Astroblast is fun anyway).
  6. Platform - Honestly, I like Sunshine the best. Sports - Never played any. Puzzle - Dr. Mario all the way!! Kart - Mario Kart: Super Circuit (the Japanese version, actually). RPG - Superstar Saga is pretty neat.
  7. I've neglected it for a while, but Yellow is my favorite, though I do want to get Silver.
  8. Pitfall II for me. I don't know, I just don't care for the first one much.
  9. This might be a somewhat stupid question, but why is it that copies of the original nine games (and any subsequent releases of them) have only 23 pins, rather than 24, on their PCBs?
  10. "Damn it, Stella! I don't CARE that the Automazeons don't want to die! JUST SHOOT THE EFFING DERELICTS!!!"
  11. Oh my God, this game is crazy. It's like Dolphin in three dimensions and on crack!
  12. Open Sesame draws a screen while it says, "Open Sesame!" when you turn the system on.
  13. Both of them are excellent. Delta is a bit livelier, though.
  14. I just checked and Steel Talons does indeed have the flip feature.
  15. Rather than Fire Fighter, I'd recommend getting Towering Inferno instead. The graphics aren't as good, but the gameplay is more solid.
  16. Yeah, I have some. Playstation: -A.IV. Evolution (NTSC-J) Game Boy (all Japanese): -Zero One SP (GBA) -Mario Kart Advance (GBA) -Wario Land Advance Yooki no Ohou (GBA) -Final Fight One (GBA) -Advance GT 2 (GBA, pirated) -Dragon Quest III (GBC) -Dragon Quest I & II (GBC, pirated) -Lodoss to Senki: Eiyuu Kishiden GB (GBC, pirated) -Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible II (GBC, pirated)
  17. -A-VCS-tec Challenge -Merlin's Walls -Edtris 2600 -SoundX And whatever holiday cart this year will entail .
  18. Eh, Racquetball's okay. It just takes getting into a nice rhythm, though I wish the ball wouldn't project shadows on the walls and ceiling.
  19. That one's pretty odd in that it was distributed over a period of 3 weeks in 1982 after Star Ship had been discontinued a few years prior. It's also a text label cart, even though other carts at the time were picture labels.
