It's me again, Margaret. I was pretty surprised by the enthusiastic reaction to the sample Combat card I posted, and I am now seriously thinking of doing a production run of a set of cards. The first set will be based on this catalog (Gateway, I know I told you a different catalog...) http://www.atariage.com/catalog_overview.h...ml?CatalogID=24 plus Combat. There will be a card for each label variation of the nine games, for a total of 30 cards. Each label variation card will carry a different "fun fact" about the game. (Shadowdoggie, consider this... you can sort by title, label variation, or based on the card number!) Now, a little about myself and my situation. I'm in the USAF, currently serving in Bosnia. I will be leaving Bosnia in about two weeks, and returning to my home and family in Germany. I will then return to the United States for Christmas, and make it back to Germany at the start of the new year. Therefore, I won't be able to finish the design phase until late Jan. There are printing facilities in Germany I can use, but if anyone out there has "a friend in the business" or can get me the hookup, drop me a line. (Gateway, I'm interested in talking to you about this.) The cash you save may be your own! I'm a longtime reader of AtariAge forums, first time poster (I think...may have had an account here a couple of years ago.). Anyway, that topic "It's in the cards for Nolan Bushnell" inspired me to put something together. I hope you don't mind them not being image links, but, I'm currently serving in Bosnia, and I don't have a good place to host my images. However, in my spare time, I play a lot of 2600.
