I've only played the 7800 version, but I'm curious, are any versions of Karateka actually good?

Atari 8-Bit is great, the 7800 version is the worst. Poor controls & collision detection!

Yes.. C64 and Apple.. Famicom has a great one but the gate towards the end is so broken and unfair.

Sadly, it seems like any version of Karateka is better than the 7800 version.
