Guess it’s time to give Sonic another chance. Confuses me, though. I’m never sure if I’m supposed to go fast, or take my time, explore, and collect the rings.

  Like they say.. you play it fully, you'll figure it out. Put it this way, if you make it to the Labyrinth Zone you won't be going very fast since it's under water.

  Funny thing is, I played (and finished) the original at some point in the 90s. I just remember not liking it much, and never knowing if I should blaze through or explore. Somehow though, I’ve ended up with pretty much all of them over the years, including Sonic Mania on Switch, so time to revisit, I suppose.
