  No way. Gotta play Ys 6 next on PC. Playing 7 first might upset the balance of space/time and all that jazz.

  @deepthaw - Chronicles on PC is a great remake. It keeps everything about the originals intact, for better or worse, but updates sound/graphics/dialog and a few quality of life type of tweaks. If you didn't already like the games, I don't figure it'll change any opinions, but I had a blast replaying with a few updates, then tearing through the boss rush modes.
