  1. So, approx $1500 repair for a vehicle with $2900 trade in value. Is the repair worth it or time to move on and buy a new car?

Honestly, even in 1988 games like Megaman 2 & Contra made it hard to be impressed with most anything the SMS offered. Ask me because I had both and knew this inherently. That said, I'd pick Phantasy Star which really did blow away every other 8-bit game out there, and Dragon Warrior/Quest 1 seemed that much more primitive.

I don't have any problem with the program, but I see no need whatsoever for the .7Z file format, and people who use 7-Zip invariably seem to create .7Z archives (the default format) that nobody else can open without 7-Zip, instead of just plain .ZIP archives, which is annoying.

I'd be far happier if I knew I'd be able to make rent AND be able to eat, AND have disposable income with which to better my life, these are high school and college students who are eating nothing but cup noodles everyday because they can't pay rent and tuition as well as buy groceries. These guys can't afford to live.

I think the time is right to strike.  Considering how every printer I know of these days is junk, (not like I know anything though, but let's pretend just for this example);   A High Quality printer could be just what the market needs right now!  They might just sell a buttload of printers and do very well.

It's a known issue in any device that contains a soft walled rechargable lithium battery pack. So most modern handheld game systems, wireless controllers, tablets, and cell phones. They're all at risk for going kablooey eventually. There are some exceptions thankfully, like the Nintendo DS/3DS systems which use hard walled battery packs.

Conan the Barbarian (the one that started in 1970 or so)   I've never considered myself an active collector of anything, just bought whatever I wanted to read/watch/play etc, but for comics, I have managed to horde up complete collections of Conan the Barbarian, Savage Sword of Conan, and Groo the Wanderer <--- kinda like Conan I suppose  😄

      Razzie.P

The Savage Sword magazine was pretty special to me as a kid.  I'm not sure if the "magazine" format allowed them to get around the comic code restrictions or how they pulled it off, but I as blown away but how much those stories really captured the characters and world that I imagined when I read Howard's original stories.  The nudity and savage imagery was far and above what they were able to get away with in the comics books.

Haha Malrak,...I So remember when comics were a quarter, the same as a candy bar...Sometimes I'd get a comic after supper instead of a candy bar, which we often did if we went out to dinner (not all the time mind you).   And I remember being almost perplexed the day I noticed both went up to 35 cents!

  21. In the mood for a racing game, so I figured I’d give Forza Horizon 4 (Xbox One X) a shot.  So far, my experience in the first couple of hours has been about 55% load screens, 35% driving around to get to the events, and about 5% actually racing.

@deepthaw - Chronicles on PC is a great remake. It keeps everything about the originals intact, for better or worse, but updates sound/graphics/dialog and a few quality of life type of tweaks. I can get to the end boss on Mission 4 consistently with one credit.  Magic gets him down to a single hit, and sometimes I can land that hit and move on, other times nope.  Funny thing about Mandara, though… I can get there with a single life, but I can NEVER beat that boss until I’ve died a couple of times.  I’m not sure what’s the deal, but it seems impossible until it has slapped me around a bit.   Switch version (Sega Ages) is great!  The “cheat” features on that helped me learn the placements.

    4. retrorussell

      retrorussell

That Mandara boss is a snap if you get right up to the columns and use your magic.  The columns will overtake you as the magic goes off, then you get bumped backwards in front of the statue head.  Destroy it before it can shoot fireballs.  Easy!  Too bad this doesn't work on the Master System (can't use magic on bosses).
