    F-Zero 99 is a gateway drug. I tried GX on my hacked Wii because of 99 and wow does that game get intense even on the easiest difficulty.

      I used to be like that and never got anything done, so I actively worked toward developing the habit of "less planning, more doing" with amazing (to me) results.  Sometimes you just need to force yourself to take those beginning steps and you'll find that, quite often, things will start to snap into place and it's much easier to "micro-plan" the building blocks and path as you go.

    I beat ELDEN RING tonight, finally. I stopped about 2/3 of the way into the game over a year ago and picked it up again last month to finish before STARFIELD launches. Gotta say, it was hard as balls for an old grognard like me, but an amazing gaming experience. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea but damn was it good.

    Are there any good Indiana Jones games?  I know the NES ones suck...but there must be at least 1-2 good ones out there on some platform.

      Yep.   Lucasarts had a couple of great Graphic Adventures on PC, Fate of Atlantis and Last Crusade.  Xbox (maybe more) has Emporer’s Tomb.    The Lego games were cool, if you like that sort of game.  They’re a bit clunky, but I really like the ones released on N64 and Wii as well, but I can understand why they aren’t considered “good” games by some.
