Amazingly though there are areas of the country where Wal-Marts are not on every corner and it could be that the time they waste in line makes up for the extra 2.50 they paid. Actually when the new 50's first came out they were selling to collectors for 60 to 70 dollars. Just like postage stamps I can go to the PO and buy a sheet of the new commerative for 7.40 and sell it for 9.99.

North and South would probaly be a rarity 4 to 5 on a NES scale. Last 2 I have owned I found in the wild one back in August so they are out there just not easily found.

Want a cup from the Pistons/Pacers game??
atari2600foreever replied to atari2600foreever's topic in Auction Central
It is just a cup that could have been tossed at that game, it was not the cup that started the whole incident. There were hundreds if not thousands thrown during the game so I am sure it could possibly be from that game, but for 1500.00?? -

Anyone ever been to a live auction, I have been to many I don't know how many times I have seen the auctioneer about to end the item when a new bidder will jump in at the last second, of course there the auctioneer would extend it. There are some who think Ebay should extend auctions for an extra 10 minutes if there is a bid in the last minute, I think this however would create items that could potentionaly run forever. To me this would take away the spirit of the auction.

Sniping really don't matter simply the highest bid wins and unless they bid up to the next increment then they will not win it the earliest bid will, what kills me is people who claim that they do not have time to come back on a sniper to beat them out. They would not have this problem if you would bid your max when you bid. I rarely snipe, I bid my maximum and move on to the next one if I get it I get if I don't somoene wanted it more than I did. I used to snip all the time on my exes ID because we had other bidders who would bid on stuff simply because we were bidding on it. It can also help protect you from a shill bid. As a seller I say bring on the snipers I love them..

Post that on the bidding board on Ebay, they have a special club for 1 second snipes.

Cooperatively played classic games
atari2600foreever replied to RangerG's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Air-Sea Battle or Target Fun and Warlords both come to mind. Seems like Maze Craze had something coopertive as well. The first 2 though are not really cooperative, but you both play at the same time. There are many more in the sports games and combat and Space War, but again these are more competitive -
The word I got from a pink on this is that in order for the claim to be sucessful the Buyer will have to be able to prove he sent payment and the seller will have to prove he shipped the item. The way I take it, it is going to be much like Paypal does already. It is just a means to force all transactions on Ebay to go through Paypal, since that seems to be the only real way that a buyer could prove he sent payment. There are still many questions to answer. Like if a buyers pays with Paypal on Day 7 after 5pm, will he be able to claim not recieved that same day?? When it is obvious the seller has not had time to mail the item.

While it is a fun game the battles are so east to win using just your calvary there have been times where I had just one calvary left and took out an entire union army. Then in the scrolling fight scenes it is just a matter of finding the little holes in the screen where you can make the AI use all its defenders.
