Given, I am a fairly new 2600 fan, but Adventure is a pretty awesome game. What are you talking about when you say that Adventure only has 12 screens? I don't know the exact total, but it sure isn't 12. If I am wrong, please explain why.

What a great topic.
The best game I ever played would be SMB3 (Super Mario Bros. 3). It gave me and continues to give me countless hours of fun when either being stationed in one shit hole after another or finally being back home. The game never gets old and I still play it to this day. I actually try to beat some of the world records... but my reaction time will never compare to the elite gamer's.
The worst game is a toughie. I have played tons of crappy games in my life and if I had to say the worst it would be Karate on the Atari 2600. What a horrific "game". It is basically non-playable as the controller to input does not work at all.
Runner ups for best game... Resident Evil 4 PS4, Defender arcade, 720 arcade, and Star Wars arcade.

Heavy sixer all day long, and a very nice one at that.

Big fan of the movie? Read the book... it has almost NOTHING to do with the movie at all and if you grew up in the 80's it will hook you almost immediately. The book is my personal favorite of all time.

So odd to read keatah's comments. It is almost like he/she is trying to torpedo your sales with all the emulation talk...why?

2600 stuff
in Wanted
I am looking to buy 2 controllers, a paddle set, and Adventure. Obviously I want everything to work. Shipping to 97006. I pay by Paypal. I am hoping someone has all this, as I do not really want to do a bunch of different transactions.

Rev, what did I tell you?

Other than REV. no one has a clue.

Playing through the game 7 Days to Die and came across this sign, I couldn't help but smile and consider taking a side trip to dig for carts!
I have been playing 7 DTD since alpha 6 or 7 or maybe 8 and truly love it. Since alpha 16 has been around for 13 months or so I have been building and exploring and have never seen that sign. Nice catch though. I can't wait til A17 comes out, the graphics seem to be pretty good. Lets just hope the mini-bike and all the new vehicles don't randomly disappear on this version.

Rampage and the ridiculous Donkey Kong 3. Donkey Kong 3 is horrific and WAY too easy. It also has nothing to do with Donkey Kong or Donkey Kong jr.

No dice on the r-8 Halloween pic.?

Damn near flawless.

Nice! I feel I will consider mine "complete" if I have carts of everything unique that's an r9 and below. Any rarity 10 stuff would be cool to own but the odds of me ever swinging that at a price I would pay is minimal. But hey, as it is I'm getting pretty close to that goal too.
Do you have a pic. of the 'Halloween' r-8 cart? If so, please post.

I searched Google for this, as I had no clue to what you were posting about. http://www.videogameconsolelibrary.com/pg90-vis.htm#page=reviews. Just for the hell of it, post a pic.of what you want. I am curious as to what it is.

For starters, they have Atari's prototype Beavis and Butt-Head arcade game, the NARC machine has a level that was never released, they have several Midway and Gottlieb prototypes on the floor as well.... They also have games that have never been released in the US like Silent Hill, Metal Gear, Castlevania (this is a theater style game where you hold a wiimote like contraption for your whip,) Left 4 Dead, Sega Sonic the Hedgehog Arcade
Another arcade I'd add is Pixel Blast in downtown Lisle, IL, a suburb of Chicago, then in Joliet there's the Chicago Street Pinball Arcade.
Thanks, I was hoping for some old school stuff prototypes that are pretty much non-existent, but thank you for the info.

One thing I'll say for Galloping Ghost: they do have some rare and prototype stuff you're not likely to see anywhere else. That said, the comment about them being packed solid and wanting to escape is pretty accurate, at least from my one trip there a couple of years ago.
Definitely not bad, certainly worth a visit, but if we lived in the area it probably wouldn't be a regular haunt.
What "prototype stuff" are you talking about?

I only found this forum due to my uncle passing away, and my aunt Dixie gave me all his Atari and Commodore 64 stuff. I have always been a gamer and I suppose that is why she gave me the stuff. I love the games for the most part (I was raised on Nintendo) and I really enjoy the Starpath games especially.

H.E.R.O. is definitely right up there, but I am going put all Starpath games as the most advanced games for the 2600...... Oh yeah, Solaris is pretty great also.

I had over the years always knew he was a cheater. C'mon look at his scores, some were so much higher/better than the second place guy that they were obviously fraud. T.G. kowtowed to this guy and many others (see Billy Mitchell) that the integrity of T.G. has been compromised for decades.

Were you taking undercover video lol? I sure hope the few retro arcades in Oregon make it through this nightmare....Quartercade and Ground Kontrol.
