I'm thinking the same thing. The Supercharger games required additional hardware present on the Supercharger cart to work. You'd have to duplicate that hardware on each and every cart and that would be more expensive than it would be worth if you could even locate the parts anymore.

That looks like more than just sitting in a garage or attic for 30 years dusty. That looks more like flood damage mud encrusting to me.

Not necessarily. How do you prove a video game manual is a fake when you don't have an original to compare it to? How does ebay/Paypal know it's a fake? It's not like currency that can be easily proved a fake. You think they'll just refund your money on your word with no proof?

For $80 it better come with at least 50 carts.

Where are they coming from? They aren't exactly easy to find and if someone had been advertising them online, there's quite a few people who would have been all over them.

Was the item sent with insurance? I believe the least amount of insurance you can buy covers up to $100 replacement value, so that's probably why that value was declared.

65XE is common as dirt, so the sky's the limit for mods. The 800XE is not so common so I would try to leave that as near to stock as possible. If you have a faulty chip in it that is having a negative affect on your enjoyment of it, then that shouldn't be a problem to replace as it isn't a major mod.

Personally, I cannot see why anyone would bother to disassemble one of these drives unless it's to repair another one. The drive mechanisms are useless by today's standards and you'd need to find comparable parts to get one working with another system anyway so why not just leave the drive in the case? Who is going to buy an 8" 5mb or 5.25" 10mb MFM/RLL drive mech by itself anymore? Most of the popular vintage computers have IDE/SATA or CF interfaces available nowadays. And this is another reason why ebay stores should be included in searches. How the hell are you supposed to find something in an ebay store that you want to buy if it doesn't show up in a search? If I was paying money to ebay for a virtual storefront I'd damn well want every item I have to show up in searches so I have a better chance of selling them. Believe it or not, I think it was last year, someone on ebay UK had a Corvus drive with PC interface for sale. I was tempted to bid on it, win, and tell the guy to send me just the interface and do whatever he wants with the drive. I wish I had done that. It might have been worth it.

Sounds like you have a virus to me. I have Kaspersky and that catches everything and nothing is setting off the alarm from that Intellivision website.

A boxed Donkey Kong for Colecovision is harder to find than you think, and apparently a boxed Sears Checkers for Intellivision is harder to find than Stadium Mud Buggies and may even harder to find than Spiker.

If it's a Corvus Integrator it's worth a lot more than $10. It's not very likely, though. It's probably just an aftermarket RAM upgrade.

I'm surprised no one has photographed the rare 800 add on boards for reference yet.
