I shot these fireworks a few years ago. I think they came out pretty good. I have a bunch more, but won't take up too much space here.

Fireworks are hard to shoot because it's so dark out you need to leave your camera shutter open longer. Thus, you press to shoot a picture like 2 or 3 seconds before the actual firework goes off. You hold very steady and hope for the best.

A few years ago I decided to do some time lapse photography. You need a tripod for this, because your camera has to be extremely still. You then set the camera to basically take a picture for like 30 seconds (or more if you can). It will continue to capture information for the whole time and combine that into one image.

Normally when you take pictures too close to a subject it will look blurry. A lot of cameras have a macro mode which overcomes this. My camera had super macro mode. I could basically almost be touching something and it would still come out clear.
