Wrong forum. There's a section for "Wanted" too.

Thanks for the green view. I don't mind either, but prefer red. For the inside of the case I'd buy pieces of foam and cut out the space for the cartridge I think.
-
Those plastic puzzle gift boxes that Brian showed me. I found them for sale in green for $3.97 for 2 and $4.44 for red. I tend to like red since it's a bloody color, but maybe I can alternate them. I emailed the company to see if they can provide me with inner dimensions, maybe they can offer a discount (still gotta try even though that is really cheap already). With shipping would only come to about $105.

With game name:

You are right a picture does do a thousand words! I will have to see what the inner dimensions of that clear box would be. I'll also have to see that guy on eBay. He doesn't list inner dimensions of the compartment. Will check if the eBay guy can sell me at least 30 of them too. Thanks, I never even checked Amazon. I had limited my search to Google and wood, but that plastic does look pretty. By the way, the guy who's doing the artwork is the wood carvers son. Very talented family I guess. He is going to school for graphic arts I guess and has a full setup. I'm pretty sure he'll be illustrating the cartoon instruction manual for me.

Has anyone ever bought from Alibaba? I tried contacting someone on there for a cheap video game system, they didn't reply. Their price was a bit higher than others, but that's because their min qty was 1. I wanted to pick up a "GB Station Light II". They have a GB Station Light which looks just like a Gameboy Advance, but has 380 games built in. The GB Station Light II is supposed to be better, and also with like 500 games or so.

Well, here's the thing. I don't mind if the wood case is plain. The thing is if I am going to do it, then it needs to be a puzzle to open. Like a "Japanese Puzzle Box" or something. They require a certain set of moves to open the box. My Atari game is a puzzle and so should the box. Wink. Wink. My last resort is to not include a wood box, but get that cheap puzzle box I showed you above and package the answers to solve the game in. The game has 40 levels ranging from Beginner to Expert. You can start on level 1, 10, 20, or 30.
-
Well, turns out the puzzle box I liked for under $10 bucks doesn't have a large enough inner dimension to hold a 2600 cartridge. http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/games/a82b/ I should have read first. I'm still keeping my eye out for something cheap.

I am unsure if Skull Island will be burned above or below the skeleton. Eitherway I wasn't too picky.
-
Here's a drawing of what the skeleton will look like for the cartridge: The same person might do the instruction manual / comic book also. Here's a mockup of how the cartridge might look with it burned in: Of course the words "Skull Island" will be there.

Yep. I know. I had stated I was putting it all back in the box to take pictures, which I did. Anyway, I spoke with the lady at work.. she said to speak with my Mom.. she'll understand. I finally did. I'm getting the $158 set of pots and pans I want, plus a $225 video card for my computer.
-
I'm not a grinch. She has her own television, we have ours. It's the only television we have. So, if my Girlfriend is on the computer I use the television and vice versa. Anyway, still for sale.. here's pics.. sorry I fingerprinted it.. smudges easy.. Wii system, Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, and Deluxe Gaming Bundle which includes component cable, carry case, and a bunch of stuff.
-
By the way, two people messaged me regarding this system. I'll let you know in the morning what system exactly it is and what's going on.
-
I've never been into the "kiddie" like graphics of those Wii titles.. If I give her the Wii it'll be in her bedroom since she's not allowed to use our television.. and I'd feel like my Mom got me nothing for Christmas. Which is fine with me, but I'd rather have a nice set of pots and pans or her have the money back. I need some new pots and pans still or a computer video card.
-
My Mom got us a Wii for Christmas. I don't really want one. I'm happy with my Gamecube. She got it as a gift for all three of us, but I don't really like my Girlfriends Daughter, so far as I'm concerned it's OUR gift. But anyway, I know she got it on QVC. It's a black unit. Looking on their website I see the cheapest bundle is $299.99. The system is "brand new". I say it in quotes because the daughter opened it when she wasn't allowed to. So, it's been played for a few hours. I'll know shortly what exact system bundle it is when I package it back up and put it back in the box. I'll post a picture too. I'm thinking of letting it all go for $150 + shipping. So, you're getting $300 worth of stuff for $150. If anyone is interested shoot me a message.

Next year let's make a requirement that people use some form of tracking and mail it to AX. He'll keep a global list of them just in case of troubles.

Original Flashback2 Sighting... $24.99

Interesting thread. -
I might have found a nice wooden box that is a puzzle to open. Best part is it's under $10 bucks! If it fits I'll have pics. I'm ordering one this week to see if the inner dimensions hold a cartridge. If so then maybe I can work a discount for ordering 29 more.

Oh! My Mom got one of those butterflies for my Cousin, so I'll see one when I go over there for Christmas Day. My Mom told me she played with the gifts before she sent them out LOL! I'm envisioning my gifts having pepperoni grease on them lol. I hope we do this secret santa next year.. I enjoyed it a lot.
-
No comment. You showed great self control!!!! :D
-
River City Ransom and Snake Rattle & Roll are great games!!! I didn't beat snake. I almost bought my secret santa the joystick candy, and a Pac-man candy.

Atarius Maximus is working on "an unnamed game inspired by grand theft auto": http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/171706-an-unnamed-game-inspired-by-grand-theft-auto/

They're pet rocks. They plug into the new 7800 Expansion module. Are the rocks in the shape of Atari 2600 cartridges? How much are they?

Just thought I'd add that my person should receive their gift any day now. Feel free to open it whenever you want.
