  1. I'd buy one if they had say 100 or 200 games on it.. for the price they are now they are overly priced. The other reason I'd want one is if they made an Atari 2600 on a chip.. I'd like to see that come out for future Atari 2600 portables to be made even smaller and better than they are now.
  2. Wonder if anyone has ever tried to design something for Adventurevision system?!
  3. For $5 I'd have probably got it just for collectable purposes. Pretty cool find as I've never saw them before.
  4. Yep.. all removed. I've emailed eBay before regarding GBA multicarts and I know one guy got his account removed. The funniest thing I saw was this guy who came into an IRC channel once and spammed his auction for a Dreamcast. He had a high reserve for it so when you keep bidding you finally have to bid a lot, trying to scam people. So, I kicked him and said I'm going to leave him negative feedback and he said I can't do that. Sure I can.. so I created an account, bid on his item.. I bid over $500.. his reserve was $500 and he emails me and all I wrote back was "Thought you said I couldn't leave negative feedback?" lol and after a few days I was able to leave him feedback.
  5. Aren't you supposed to show us the link?!
  6. I should add that these are not mine.. I just happened to find them.. sorry to give you the wrong impression.

    Cartridges

LOL! It's a few screws or maybe some prying open. How much easier can that get?!
  8. I find that using the cheap solder is what my problem was. With flux and the right solder it sticks good.. with the cheap solder it just didn't work good.
  9. Same questions I was going to ask. I'd almost want to bid on the auction, pay for it, have him leave me positive feedback.. juust so I could leave him negative about only sending me half the items. Maybe he has one he'll send me and it'll make the auction more worthwhile for me.
  10. You could make a lot of money if you could make these things to sell and undercut others costs. I see cabinets online going for $1500 or $2000 just for the cabinet and more with monitor or PC.
  11. Not really a great story, but I guess I'll tell it. This deli near me that my Mom worked at used to have 4 or 5 video games in it.. mostly they'd get bootleg copied ones. I remember one point they had a bootleg Pac-Man and it was broken somehow. You'd press up and it'd go "wokka wokka" and you'd press left and it would make a different sound. Well, I was doing it and my friend yelled fire. I had no idea what he meant because there was no fire button. Turns out the wall outlet was sparking and caught my pantleg on fire. I was scared of video games for awhile after that. I've always had fond memories of those bootleg games.. there was (at one point or another) a River Patrol copy, an original Omni, a copy of Popeye, a Donkey Kong hack, the Pac-Man copy, etc. The owner of the store was so stingy. He sold most of the games to another deli because the town started issuing monthly fees just to have video games. He kept the Popeye copy in his basement and once put it on free play for me. Oh boy! Needless to say I go bored real quick and went home.
  12. Yes yes yes yes and yes! By the way did I say yes?! Turn it into a book.. put in lots of examples.. maybe a CD with binaries or something on it.. maybe some sample sounds you can use or a sample game you can expand upon. Put a coupon in the book you can enter a contest to design a game or something..
  13. I have 4 or 5 eBay accounts. I keep getting new ones from time to time and not using some.. so I always have some to do my "dirty work" with. Dirty work would include: - calling out sellers I see with listings that try to get money out of people.. ie: them selling stuff like a whole listing that describes actual specs for a $8000 plasma tv, then in real tiny letters they say "you're bidding on a wholesale list only" -- if it's a list it should be easy to read and listed a few times in the ads. I usually email the sellers and the bidders to let them know too. - I also send emails to sellers (and the bidders of the auction) like "why the heck would someone want to bid on your crap when it sells new in the store cheap" and I give them a link to where they can purchase it cheaper. - if someone ever leaves me or my friend a retailation negative, I use my fake account to bid on something the other person has and leave them a negative. chances are eBay won't remove it and they'll be stuck with it.. - of course fake accounts are good for driving up prices of your auctions (use with caution and you know what I mean) - sometimes if I spot something illegal being sold on eBay I report it to them through a fake account.. I especially like calling out the seller if he's already got some positive feedback.. if he keeps selling the same type of items he could be suspended or banned.. I once got someone banned for selling bootleg VHS movies and copies of TV shows.
  14. Shouldn't this have gone in the Auction forum?!
  15. Wouldn't this go in the Marketplace forum?!
  16. Imagine if you knew back then what you know now?! You'd look for more obscure companies games to buy lol.
  17. I miss the old days when I'd go into a store and see a wall of like 200 games for sale.. there used to be this place.. it was considered an indoor fleamarket. It was basically a big building with booths. It was only open on the weekend. I remember wanting Journey Escape and I picked up Deadly Ducks instead.
  18. Where can I find a ROM for this?! It's not at the link mentioned in the first post. Also, what emulator do you reccommend for Windows XP Professional?!
  19. I hear they were buggy. They didn't copy a lot of games, had copy errors a lot due to voltage changes in the power supply (it used the Atari 2600 power supply).
  20. It's gotta be Arena Football.. or Hockey. I want full movement, full control, punching, kicking, eye gouging, anything I can think of.. heck Wrestling would be awesome too.
  21. Never heard of this before.. pretty cool. Too bad I can't see the videos.. I refuse to install Quicktime because I hate that little icon that pops up and I'm too lazy to install Quicktime Alternative.
  22. That's so funny because before I even scrolled down past the first message in this thread I was already voting for E.T. and then found everyone else did too.
  23. I would have done it if I found out about it earlier. There's always next year. How about you all just get me a birthday present instead?! LOL! Let me get this straight.. if we do a secret santa thing next year can I ask for things most people would be embarassed to buy?! LOL! Blow up dolls, etc. LOL! I wouldn't do that but would be funny.
  24. So how can you tell from a box that it's a blue label?!
