  1. Electronic Arts goofed up and sent me a second copy of Generations by mistake. Oops. Their bad. They didn't charge me for it either. I listed it on eBay starting at $1.

How do you charge shipping for it, though? eBay says the maximum shipping I can charge is $4.00.

I do not want to put it in a pouch.. I like boxes.

A small flat rate priority box is $5.20 and Delivery Confirmation is .70 cents.. that's $5.90.

Even if I pay online the charge would be $5.00.

So, then I tried not flat rate box.. around the same price.

So, then I tried large envelope. It won't even give me a parcel post price for that!

    What do you do?

In the end it really doesn't matter since I got the item for free, the left it on my doorstep so I can say I never received the second copy.

  2. Interesting read. I didn't know that about him. I don't have any clique. While I do admit Billy Mitchell looks like an arrogant person, maybe he's sort of nice in real life if I ever met him. Who knows. I will say I don't like his facial hair though. Kind of makes me think he wants to grow into a real life Donkey Kong.

  3. There was a t-shirt you could order for the Black Knight 2000 pinball machine. It was on the backglass or the screen or something.

Does anyone have a link to what the shirt looked like?

I'd like to make a reproduction for myself. I found a shirt for sale on the web, here:

But I am unsure if that looks like the original.. it's pretty pricey, but I think I want it anyway. I'm not sure if that one is screen printed or not.

  4. What's very odd is I relisted it on eBay with a lower starting price and a Buy It Now price. When I log in to eBay now it shows I'm selling nothing. I just thought I'd put up at that price and see how it went.. didn't really care if it sold or not since I don't need the money.

I guess I'll take the next person in line here and see if they want it.

I'm going to work with CPUWIZ to make a second run of carts within a few weeks. Just been busy at work and tired lately.. haven't really replied or came here too much.

  5. The 5200 would be much better suited.. there's a BASIC language that includes a simple PRINT command. The documentation isn't the greatest and the person who was making the program stopped working on it a long time ago. Don't think we have contact for him either.

  6. I tried to make a Simon Says, but I can't figure out how to make the program remember the sequence.

OK, I had no idea that this trick even existed, so if it did, my apologies. It looks like when you're using pfcolors, no blank lines and background, you can actually pick what color you want the playfield blocks to be by putting it first in the pfcolor table. Using this, I made a Pitfall!-type screen. How cool is that. You learn something every day.

I stumbled across this technique while trying to make a Simon Says like game, but I'm sad to say that it has fallen by the wayside. One difference is that I'm not using no_blank_lines.

  7. Freakin night time is the worst because overnight is where the sorethroat comes back. When I wake up it hurts to swallow. During the day I drink constantly to keep my throat wet.

I originally bought cough supressant, but then it turned into a sore throat too. So, it's not working.

Hi, I mailed out all the carts. Will post tracking in a minute in your PM's. Sorry for the delay I've been sick this week, not that that's any excuse. Started as a cough, now it's a cough and a bad sore throat.

I got this same damn thing goin on....My eyes are all puffy and my nose feels like 1 half of it is clogged and when I wake Up I hack up a lung like I been smoking for 32 years....

    I feel for ya man.....icon_frown.gif

I hope I can get in on the next run of this game with box and manual...pm sent!

  8. I want to go to that place in Burlington also!

If anyone here is interested, my friend and I invited atarinut to the pinball museum in Asbury Park. We haven't really set anything in stone yet.. only that I've been there before and my friend and him said they're down. I'm sure nobody would mind more people coming. :)

If we go on a Saturday they're open like 11am - 1am or something.. $20 for all you can play. You can leave and come as your please. There's a few restaurants on the board walk, bars, a place to do some crafts or rent a bicycle, etc.

They have about 200 pinballs and most of them are in good working condition. If you get a high score you get your name up on it.

Most of the pins are older, but they do have some newer 80's and 90's ones.

Next year for the show I'm going to be better prepared, better organized, and bring some of my pixel art. I loved the pixel art I saw at the show, but what I've done is in a class of it's own and I think it'll blow people away.

  9. Based on the PM's I've received I'm willing to make more games. Here's the catch:

    - I won't do the same style box as the TooManyGames edition. Those are limited to 15 only and I wanted to keep them that way. I didn't even keep a copy for myself! :) I wonder who won the one I gave to the show to raffle off? That person received #1.

    - Do you want them in cart / manual only to reduce costs? The boxes are very good quality, though. They're nice and thick. The colors are beautiful. If so, I'll make up a new design ASAP.

I had a small problem printing the manuals.. they were just a tiny bit too large for the box, so I'll correct that.

Let me know what you'd prefer.. would you like me to offer both options?

  10. Ature is an action adventure game for the Atari 2600 designed by Beoran that I released at TooManyGames in limited edition. There was only 15 copies made, one of which was raffled off at the show.

The game comes in a special box that was only made for the show, along with instruction manuals and labels of course. They all say TooManyGames on them and are hand numbered.

I have five copies left! They are NTSC. The price is $45 + $5 shipping (USPS with delivery confirmation in a box, that is US price only.. if you're elsewhere let me know when you PM me). I accept PayPal.

Rather than take up more space, I'll direct you to another thread for box pictures:

    http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/180760-ature-action-adventure-cart-for-the-atari-2600/page__gopid__2275695#entry2275695

The first two pictures were the prototype box before they were made.... later on in the thread I have pics of the actual boxes and the carts too.

The boxes intentionally have dashes and a misspelling on the back to make them feel more as if they came from Taiwan.

Inside the bottom flap if you open it up is a limited #.

Anyway, reply here PM SENT and then shoot me a PM.. only if you want one. This way nobody can say I treated anyone unfairly.. the first 5 people to write PM SENT here get them.

  11. If you ever play Remote Control car racing on a PC that controller seriously kicks ass! It's long been discontinued. I had one when it was brand new and later on got one for $5 at a computer show. It's the next best thing to a real RC controller. The ones I had were responsive and accurate.

  12. RT's the one who helped me in the past, but unfortunately the only help that helped me was him actually doing the work for me. :(

I was unable to successfully do things on my own. I tried inserting the sound in various spots.
