This is a fantastic game. Your goal is to survive for 30 seconds.
Level 1 starts you out on ice that melts away.
Level 2 has ground that disappears below you.
I haven't played much further, but I came here to post. The game could be drawn in playfield pixels.

Actually I wasn't aware of a lot back then.

Vectrex looks AWESOME. I've never owned one.
If I knew back then I'd have also wanted an Adventurevision. Screw the expensive price tag.. I just like it for myself.

You know.. I see a lot of games with 1981 - 1983 on their year. As a kid I don't even remember the Odyssey 2. I had Atari, my father had one, my Grandmother's house had one, my Uncle's house had one, and my friend had an Intellivision. I remember one kid getting a 5200 and saying how superior it is.. really? Broken joysticks shortly after getting it.. really your system is superior? I bet my Dad's Atari joysticks still work today!
Sometimes I wish I was a few years older back then.. I'd probably have had a job to buy more games.

Well, I don't have the voice module either. Only the power adapter that can work with it.
I need to find an RCA cable around the house or go pick one up since this didn't come with the television adapter.
Is Power Lords good? I was looking at the online when I got home.
I have a question about the joysticks. You know where the two halves of the case for the system go together? You know the little seam between them? Is that normally where the joystick cable comes out of? Mine is sticking out there.
Does anything really make use of the keyboard besides selecting games?
I knew the system wasn't going to "make me a fortune" selling it. If I did let it go, it would probably just be for a few bucks more than I paid plus shipping... maybe $50 plus shipping. I'm going to try and test it out tomorrow and see if I want to keep it or not. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM and I'll let you know.

Odyssey 2 unit with 2 hardwired joysticks (I hope they work), power adapter that also works for the voice module, and 36 games (1 not in the pictures).
11 of the games are boxed.
The guy wanted $50, but I only had $43 in my pocket. Sold.
Too bad, last year he got rid of all his Atari 2600 stuff at the same place.
No TV adapter, but I'll open her up and turn it into a regular RF cable.
Is this a fun system to play? I'm deciding if I should keep or sell it.
Thinking I might get a switchbox to hook all the video game systems to one tv input.

Those Powerjoy carts do not seem to work in a real NES for me.
I had a 110 in 1 I believe. Could not get it to work on anything else except the system I bought it with.

From what I hear, I can stick a 300GB hard drive in it (larger? not sure), play music, movies, pictures, emulators for other systems, etc.
I'm new to this as well, but I found a tutorial online.
It says I should first insert Halo 2 or newer game and without internet it will automatically update my dashboard to another version. That version is known to be softmod.
You burn some stuff to CD and insert it to softmod it or something.
There's other software to take a store bought ATA hard drive and format it for XBOX use.

My Cousin was going to college and got rid of their XBOX. My Grandmother was going to sell it, but she doesn't feel like carrying it to the flea market since it's heavy so my Aunt said I could have it.
Original XBOX, 2 controllers, Madcatz steering wheel with shifter and 9 games:
Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
Halo 2
Pocketbike Racer
Star Wars Knights II The Sith Lords
Star Wars Knights Old Republic
Crimson Skies
Star Wars II Battlefront
Crash and Burn
Fable
Might get rid of the steering wheel and most of the games and turn this into a media player for my tv. Guess I'll use Halo 2 to upgrade the dashboard if needed, then soft mod it.

Be careful of what you buy. I used to want one of these.. they had a 1078 in 1 jamma board. The website that sold them discontinued them as they were unstable and unreliable. They said you're better off going with a real MAME setup.
This is very cool! You could upgrade it to a real arcade board pretty easy. Those 60 in 1 boards can run off an old pc power supply and output vga. So you could hook it right up to your monitor. Board is around $100. Jamma harness is maybe $15. Something to consider.

I say good deal too. I'm sort of interested in a Colecovision.

I don't like the new themes, but I vote for I vote for an AA colored theme similar to the old, but maybe updated a bit.

OMFG! I want that!

Yeah, I posted this awhile ago, but I could use someone to burn me 20 ROM's, assemble them on PCB, and if you have the cartridge shells to that would be nice.
CPU's very busy right now.
I could use them before May.. the Too Many Games show is coming up and I'd like to release something there.

I wonder how far she is in New York. I'm in New Jersey. I'm sure someone lives closer than me. Maybe someone could go there and verify things are legit if people were that crazy.
I'm heading up to New York to Mamaroneck soon myself and that's over an hour drive for me.
I've dealt with Wonder before and he's a really nice guy and my transaction went smoothly. So, if you do deal with him I don't think you'll have any worries.

Damn! I wish this was for PC! Splatterhouse 2010 looks awesome! They have some great music in it too.

The NWS in New York City had about 1000 people in line or more when the guy at Game Sniped got there. I wish I would have known, but Presidents of The United States played a secret show.

I cannot visit the website in the first post. It's listed as a reported attack site.

I have an original XBOX that works with 8 games, hookups, and 2 controllers.. I'm not sure if I want to keep it for myself to use as a media center or if I want to sell it. My Cousin is going away to college and gave it to my Grandmother to sell at one of her garage sales / flea market. I have no clue what games it has other than Star Wars.
Actually, I'm not totally interested in it.. in fact the more I think about it the more I'm not interested. I used to have an XBOX, but sold it within a week. I just didn't like it for some reason. I would rather get myself a new media player for my television instead. One that only plays video.
My Grandmother was asking $50. If you're interested I'm heading down there next weekend. Maybe you're thinking a little less on the price and I'll call her right away and ask and I'll also get a list of the games.
I can accept PayPal and print her out a slip showing that I didn't rip her off or you can send a money order directly to her and I'll run it to the post office for her.

I saw Guild Wars 2 in the store. I also took a look at RIFT which is coming out. It didn't look like I liked it. I can tell pretty quickly by screen shots if I like a game or not.
Man, having a good video card really changed the graphics in WoW. The water looks a lot nicer.
So far, though, I'm bored. I'm in a guild with 922 people. I'm all by myself doing stupid quests killing some guys to get some crap. Only 1 of the 6 items I need dropped so far out of about 10 kills.
They have done a lot to improve what was already a pretty perfect game.
Funniest thing I've ever done in WoW? My friend and I were maybe level 30 or less, I forget. We're doing a quest together and couldn't kill this dude on top of a mountain. We tried 2 or 3 times. He said we almost have him and I wanted to go do other quests. So, we had a fight in game and I said I'm going this way, you go that way. And I left. LOL! I didn't know I was running in an area with higher level enemies. It was some woods where you couldn't see the sky it was so dark in there. Every enemy had a skeleton next to him, which means he's too high a level for me to fight. I made it through there scared as hell and made it to a new flight path at least, so if I wanted I could fly back there.
Stupidest thing I've ever done? I took a flight once and when I landed, there was a game bug. I landed, but was still on the flight. I could fly ANYWHERE I wanted, but really really really slow motion. I found this guy away from keyboard and sat there about 20 - 30 minutes flying in a circle until he got back. He laughed that I sat there that long.

I was in the store the other day and saw the 14 day trial for $1. I know you can download it free, but I thought maybe my Girlfriend would like the game. What possessed me to ever want to do this?
She got addicted immediately and played all day. Now she wants to buy a subscription for $14.99 a month. I don't want to spend money I want to pay bills and save money.
So, I said why don't I reinstate my account since I haven't played in 3 years. You can make a character on there and if I want to play I can. I have a level 64 Shammy, and 3 or 4 other characters ranging from 12 - maybe 38 or so.
So, upon entering the game my level 64 is on his Grey Kodo. It's a riding mount so you can move around quicker. I was showing my girlfriend some stuff and got off the Kodo. Now I can't use it. It want's me to relearn riding for 20g and then the next level riding for 45g! I already paid for this years ago! Thieves! This is ridiculous! It's taking most of my gold! That really upset me first. I only had 164 gold I believe. There goes 65 gold right there.
So then every where I go it says "discovered this" or "discovered that". How annoying. I've already been to all these places years ago. They already show up on my map.
Re-distributed all my talents. Fine. No big deal.
Can't figure out where anything is anymore. Frustrating when I want to visit somewhere and can't remember where to go.
Visited Ashenvale. Does anyone still quest there anymore? I used to gank Alliance outside of Astrannar (spelling?) a lot. Today there's not one person to be found. One time I turned myself invisible and kept hiding on this guy and killing him for about an hour straight.
I went to the auction house looking to pick up some better weaps or armor and there's not too much for my level. Few things, but I can't bring myself to spend the rest of my gold on minimal upgrades.
Really upset that I paid for a 3 month subscription and I don't have much desire to play.

I'm honest with my Girlfriend. I look at porn almost daily, but it doesn't mean much to me. I have a collection of stuff on my hard drive that's encrypted with a password. You need special software to open it, but if it were to all disappear I wouldn't care. I threw away any magazines and old VHS tapes I had.
There's only ONE magazine I'd like to keep, though.. it's a Cheri from 1984. It only holds special meaning 'cause I found it in my Grandfather's room while watching TV one day. I accidentally forgot to put it away and my Grandmother yelled at me. I told her it's not mine, it's his, and she yelled at him. She threw it in the garbage. I took it out and cleaned it off and kept it since then.

My first online experience was my Friends Commodore 64. We were able to connect with his father at work and type to him. We had to hook up a 300 baud modem and put the phone on top of it.

I am not sure what's changed since then, but you can see his original start on the game here:
