I might be interested in the the CIB (depending on condition) if L. Tyler is not. I'll get in line.
That would free up my personal copy of the cartridge to possibly hand over to L. Tyler. Win win?

Yes, there's usually a pattern to his listings, though the seller seems to have skipped one or two cycles in the usual routine.
There has been repetition / re-listings of certain items that might raise eyebrows (went high with a questionable bid history, then reappeared a month or so later), which may or may not have been discussed elsewhere here in the past.
But when this seller lists, it is usually a flood.

He's been doing this for months.

The first line of the listing: "I have no idea what I have" ... but let's open things up @ $399.99 ?!
Should I laugh or cry?
(ETA: I'd rather wager $70 on the frighteningly large collection of pistol holsters from the same seller.)

This
is getting released again?
(Seriously, search the forums here for Fireman, it's discussed elsewhere. I imagine the ROM is also available somewhere.)

Yes, actually, this very cartridge I have seen exchange hands on eBay over the years on at least three occasions (including the auction from which I imagine you acquired it).
I could be mistaken, but that decal is lifted from a replacement set for Expansion Module #2 (the steering wheel).

I'm trying not to appreciate the sly keyword stuffing here (Item Specifics -> Features):

Too obvious. What about Red Baron?

IIRC, Bagman has a playability issue. You can search the forums here for the discussion.
I want to say that Side Trak was bugged on its initial release, but I may be mixing that up with another title.
People seem to really enjoy Rip Cord.
(Waitaminnit, those aren't my opinions at all, are they?)

Is there anyway to play these games other than the regular controller that cramps my hands after a little bit? ... Any suggestions as I really love the system, but can only play for short times because of the controller.
Beyond ergonomics, recommendations depend on at least two key factors: 1) how much are you willing to spend? 2) what do you need output from the controller to play the games you want to play?
Solutions (good and bad) range from any of the third-party controllers produced alongside the ColecoVision itself, to use of a Y-splitter joining stock hand controller (keypad) with any compatible joystick (directions / firing) or a Champ adaptor (keypad) with a compatible joystick (directions / firing), to any of the numerous modern-era adaptors and controllers.

Will 3.01 incorporate revisions beyond the scope of homebrew/fan creations? Is there a fixed date by which to submit edits, as I've a number of pending suggestions (as hinted in PMs to you)? Thanks.

Please put me down for one.
I actually prefer the non-cabinet version of the box art from the two options presented.

My eyes usually glaze over and I stop reading auctions that make use of a riot of font colors and sizes, but then I saw the third paragraph of THIS LISTING. It's actually plastered over nearly all the other CV-related listings the seller has now.
I understand there can be disagreements, and they can sour and leave a bad impression, but to call out another eBay user by name in multiple listings over that sort of thing? Am I wrong to think this crosses some sort of line? I don't get it.

47 minutes ago, NIAD said:Correct you are although a very good quality pic of the Telegames USA cart shell front/side(s) would be enough for knowledgeable people like ourselves to make a determination.
Rather than succumb to the temptation to Pepsi Challenge others in this way, I'll simply say ... sure.
I will stress this assumes possession of such an image (not always the case) and leans heavily on the appeal to authority to establish certitude.

2 minutes ago, NIAD said:Here are two examples of legit Amazing Bumpman carts. The first was released by Telegames UK using a CBS cart shell and the second was released by Telegames USA using the Telegames cart shell (similiar to Coleco's)...
And again, the surest way to substantiate the second variant against the one that was auctioned is a reference photo of the casing's backside. Not directed at you, NIAD, in any fashion at all ... but, people, details matter.

Just now, eightbit said:I'm sorry, but that just sounds vulturous.
A tad. Unfortunately, I fear that some might find themselves weighing one thing (a collection) against another (bills due) should things sour further economically. I think the pitch could be put more gently, though, despite the reality some might or will face...

I share your opinion that it wasn't bundled in a clamshell. Never seen such. Could definitely be mistaken here, though.
27 minutes ago, stupus said:Looking closer at the bumpman, i think it is fake too. Wrong shell...
I have concerns about the [Coleco Inc.] shell, too. But available references for a TG-USA variant all show a similar casing ... from the front.

Changing the subject (if only for a moment)... mildly surprised no one has made mention of this transaction:
ColecoVision Console 2400 PROTOTYPE #4 Video Game System
Perhaps few noticed? Its eBay lifespan was fairly brief.

Rescue on Fractalus and/or Gateway to Apshai for Atari 8-bit (cartridge only)
in Wanted
Posted
That appears to be the C64 version of the cartridge and manual paired with the Atari 8-bit box. I unfortunately already have the C64 version on cartridge, as well, and I'm not sure if I'd be interested in the A8bit box without the corresponding manual.
