  1. Thanks! Yea, I need to go back and check out more of the ETA Prime videos. I’ve checked out a bit and they seem great so far. I was really hoping to hear that DC and Saturn was viable on a Pi, but figured that may not be the case Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Hi all! So I’ve just recently decided to try my hand at emulation for the first time ever. I figured that getting a Raspberry Pi and setting it up as a retro game console would be a fun project to work on this fall. And so far it has! Diving into a lot of tinkering and areas that I’m not really used to, but overall it’s been a fun experience so far. So, I am Running RetroPie Version 4.6 (rpi4 - running on Raspbian GNU/Linus 10 (buster)) on a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B with 8GB memory. Basically, I was wondering if anyone on AA has had any experience with running any Dreamcast or Saturn emulators on a Pi 4 via Retropie and how well it’s worked. I’ve done a bunch of research and from what I understand the user really needs to overclock to make the experience useable. But if even then it’s pretty subpar, then honestly I really don’t even want to bother. Really appreciate any insights you all might have!
  3. Anyone try it? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. So I just finished Ori and the Will of the Wisps. What a great game! After completing a few days ago, I noticed that I still had Yooka-Laylee in my queue, so I moved to that. It's cute....I like it. Camera is fidgety as all hell and I definitely couldn't call that aspect of the game particularly refined. But I'm still enjoying it! I need to finish Control as well. It just seemed to get difficult as all hell all of a sudden and the with the release of Ori, I got completely diverted. I hope to get back to it at some point but again, I was getting pretty frustrated with it. Maybe it only got so difficult because I was off trapsing about on side missions that were meant to be difficult (??).
  5. I’m thinking there’s an actual chance that I got #2600!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. First off, congrats to you Tommy and the rest of your Team on selling out the Founders Edition. Great job!! Second, I was just browsing You Tube and stumbled upon your Intellivision Mean Message boards video. Absolutely hilarious!! PLEASE think about doing another one! Or maybe there is already more than one and I just haven’t seen it yet?? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. I wasn’t going to bite. I REALLY wasn’t! Not because I don’t want one, really just that I wanted to walk into a store old skool and walk out of Target with one. Sometimes I have so little self control!! LOL Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. I get what you're saying, but odds are decent that the next Marriott you may stay at isn't a company owned hotel either, but a franchised one. Either way, they're in the hotel business in some way, shape or form, and my mind is still spinning. I hope they put more time, thought and care partnering with these other companies on this hotel then they've apparently done on the VCS
  9. Tommy! Super important question: when is Intellivision's line of Intellivision themed hotels breaking ground? I refer back to one of my previous posts....how did I end up in this timeline??
  10. Atari is now in the Hotel business! I wasn't sure if I should place this into the Gaming General area or here, but regardless: Atari is making Atari hotels now from Polygon. I had to seriously think for a second on whether today was April 1st or not. The Polygon article does state that Steve Wozniak's Woz Innovation Foundation is part of the development team however, so that certainly lends some credibility, I think. Wow, what universe did I wake up to this morning??
  11. For me, personally, I don’t look at Game Pass so much as needing the specific games I want. Though during Q4 it did have both Gears 5 and The Outer Worlds on launch day. But I love it for letting me play games that I wouldn’t otherwise necessarily buy. I had a blast playing both Old Man’s Journey and Yoku’s Island Express all the way through. I never would have purchased those though. I tried Snake Pass, and it wasn’t my jam. But it didn’t matter! Now, I wanted both Jedi:Fallen Order and Control, so I asked for those both for Christmas. But now days my purchases (or gifts!) really round out my Game Pass games more than the other way around. That’s been my experience at least. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Playing Jedi: Fallen Order at the moment, though, though also flipping between that and Super Lucky’s Tale. Having fun with both! Star Wars is definitely the main play at this point though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Not that it’s a remake of an Intellivision game or anything, but I wonder if a PAC Man Vs remake would work on the Amico? I mean, not sure what exactly the controllers are capable of from a display standpoint. But I’ll tell you, I absolutely loved that game on the GCN. And I feel like the Amico is the first console since then that could possibly make that work. Any possibilities Tommy?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I'd say that I'm in the same boat as you wongojack. I used to very much skew towards physical media. I definitely made exceptions for really great digital sales (any of the Deus Ex games for between $5-$9? Yes!). But now I basically go through the same thought process you describe. I do, too, have some games that I want that physical disc to hang on to. The Master Chief Collection and Rare Replay are 2 examples. But it's pretty uncommon for me these days.
