  1. Let me ask you something. If you worked in a warehouse/supply company and found out that your insurance deductable was being raised to a measly $200 per year, would that be enough for you to cry holy hell and go on strike, thereby forcing the manufacturing compay that is your biggest client to completely shut down from lack of parts?

Sounds like a bargain to me. I forget how many thousands our deductible is. We also pay an exorbitant amount of money for the policy. Basically it's there in case we get hit by a bus or something major, otherwise it's just a shit ton of money down the drain for nothing.

Full picture and more info needed. Are they raising the insurance deductible while still handing out $50k executive bonuses, for example? My company just outsourced and laid of 155 people, and not only still gives $50k executive bonuses to 45 people but gives them company paid Limousine rides to/from the airport. :(

Ok, when I posted that I was a bit peeved and going only off what I heard at work. (and ok, i did exaggerate a bit about this completely shutting us down, but we are getting extremely short on parts and if this goes on much longer it might still happen)

But if the numbers in this news article from the Star Tribune are accurate, I would still love to have their health plan.
