the 5200 version of Pengo is light years better than the arcade...i find the arcade unplayable because it's way too fast

5200 Zaxxon is way better than the Colecovision version based on the speed and the scrolling -

i owned both the Atari 5200 and the Colecovision at the same time in 1984 and played the 5200 much more..i know i'm in the minority but i actually liked the 5200 controllers back then lol -
haha...the more i think about it the more this is a bad idea anyway because Peter Pepper walks all over the meat and buns and that's not a good image for a Burger King or Mcdonald's

you could always team up with one of the burger franchises with Burger Time

for me this is an easy choice...Pengo! i think this is a GREAT version of the arcade game in fact i think the 5200 version is way better than the arcade game because the arcade version is so fast it's almost unplayable..but they made the 5200 just right where you have to time to think and plan a strategy -
Cool thank you I've been looking for a list like that..man so many games came out in 1984

what was the last official Colecovision game released and what was the date? i read recently that they stopped making the Colecovision in October 85 but i had a Colecovision during that time and i don't remember any new games released that year

is there any sales figures on Locomotion?
ASalvaro replied to ASalvaro's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
too bad we'll never know how many copies Burger Time sold but it had to have been a lot..i know a lot of people that had it and even my dad who wasn't a gamer was addicted to it and bought a Console and Burger Time of his own and his friends did too -

ya know the sales of the Intellivoice games (other than Ton Solar Sailor) really aren't that bad at all considering you needed an add on to play them -
Odd Intellivision Inspired Controller I Found
ASalvaro replied to Jeremy Popp's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
i don't want to offend anybody because every console and computer has it's fans but i had an Aquarius briefly when it came out and man what a huge mistake by Mattel..it was outdated when it was released and just awful...how in the world did anybody in the company think it would succeed?? -
awesome one of the worst things to happen to rock music played video games!

i have been playing the arcade Mouse Trap lately and have really been enjoying it i had only played it on the Colecovision and Intellivision but the arcade version is really cool and i love the sound which was pretty great for a 1981 game

Star Strike sold a lot of copies and looks good but it's just not a fun game and it's very short i can see why there's a lot of copies available -

ASalvaro replied to ASalvaro's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Yup had all the games you mentioned and got them all at the same Toys R Us..those games were all full price when Locomotion was $4.99..i want to say $34.99..also got Kool Aid Man when it 1st came out at the Osco drug store and I remember it was $19.99 new which also surprised me at the time -
i remember going to Toys R Us in 1983 to buy Intellivision games and i saw a new game called Locomotion at only $4.99..i thought it was a mistake that Toys R Us made on their pricing so i ended up buying it and i have always wondered why a new game was so cheap thanks to the internet later i found out why but i wonder how many copies the game ended up selling..it had to sell pretty good at that price
