  1. Just got my first Atari computer and could not be more excited. I want to get a new power supply as I have one of the ignot style ones that seem to be frowned upon. I found the below auction on eBay and wanted to see if anyone had any input or experience with this type of replacement power supply.

    Thanks!

  2. Thanks for the add. I added 20 entries to the list and will add more that I come across.

Has there been given any thought to making a home brew list? I know compatibility is not great but I did have two games that worked in my testing.

  3. Was super excited that my Retron 77 arrived in the mail today. Was a good boy and did all my chores first so I could tear in to that sweat nostalgic package and play some Atari games. Hooked it up and things were going great, even one of my homebrew games worked (Pac Man 4k). Turned the system off, got a drink, used the bathroom, came back and was ready for round two. Tried out the home brew Caverns of Mars, started up good, got in to the game, could not fire a shot. Reset same issue. New controller same deal. Now I am downloading the SD image to reflash my card as it is likely a file is corrupt.

Hyperkin -- I want to LOVE this thing. I want to show it off to friends and replace my Atari 2600 Jr BUT I didn't even get more than an hour of gameplay before this issue arose.

  4. Can't we all just be excited to get a clone console that supports HDMI from a company that actually produces products and as such has cash flow? I know I am and will be an early adopter.

  5. I have a Namco Ms. Pac-Man plug and play that I particularly enjoy. Great joystick and construction, great game line up. Has my favorite version of Pole Position to play because of the twist top joystick that makes controlling it fantastic. Also a great unit to play the underappreciated Mappy on.

There are two versions of this plug and play, one has game key compatibility the other (which I have) does not.

  6. Sounds like a bad controller. My Flashback 8 controller only shows the blue light when I am either pushing a button or moving the joystick. Check all of your buttons and make sure one is not jammed down in some way to see if this resolves the issue.
