  1. That looks pretty sweet! Probably a one off custom job I imagine.
  2. I like your ST ports custom cases there. I just have them all in a folder to put on the skunk when I want to play them.
  3. That's pretty awesome but you still have to buy the board thing and then install it right. It's not just some sort of tapped in cable with a USB plug on the end right.
  4. That's too bad. I guess then the key would be to swap them as soon as you buy the consoles so they are good for 20+ years. By removing it then you'd lose everything if it's maintained by the battery.
  5. The only emulation I have done for the 3DO is on my android cell phone. I purchased an app for $5 called Real3DOPlayer and it seems to work nicely. I have tried maybe 15 game son it and it's cool, just not as fun playing on a small cell phone screen vs the real deal. In all honesty tho, getting a used 3DO is around $100 or so, they look bad ass (especially the FZ-1 model) and you can download and burn basically any game for it. Granted a stack of CDs might not be the coolest thing but it's not that expensive to just dable with it like that. I would imagine even with an emulator you'd still have to taje the time to download all of those games anyways, and burning them takes under 10 minutes a disc.
  6. I have multiple of these consoles that use the save battery and I hate the idea of them since they die out over time. On basically every Saturn I have owned it boots up with the select date/time so I always replaced the battery (bought a pack of 15 on ebay for like $12 I think it was). They are all running strong now, but I do get worried about what happens when they die out again. IF they die out does that mean I would lose everything then because the battery died or is it saved somewhere in the system still? For the 3DO, I have not had any internal battery issues with the 7 or so units I have had (FZ-1, FZ-10, Goldstar) units I didn't realize anything about the Sega CD and if it has an internal battery, I was thinking to save anything you needed that backup RAM cart (which is like $100+ these days) On the Dreamcast there is still an internal battery in there but I don;t think it does anything for the actual save function, that I guess saves to those VMU removable units. But one of my Dreamcast did have the annoying start up select date/time thing so I opened it and swapped in a new battery and that went away. I have also had the batteries in the VMU die out (pretty fast actually). But I am not sure if that deletes them if the battery dies or if they are still flashed in there somehow. One that really pissed me off was the internal cart battery on one of my Virtual Boy games. The Virtual Boy doesnt have an internal memory or battery itself, some of the games have mini flat batteries inside of them. I guess with them being 20+ years old now, I had the battery on Wario Land die, which sucked as there are 14 levels and I was on level 11 in a 2 hour play through and had to turn it off to do something then came back to it the next morning and it was all wiped out. I cracked open the game and replaced the battery and it's fine now. But makes me worry about the other games I have like Galactic Pinball where I own every high score on all the tables! With the Virtual Boy example, if the battery dies you lose everything, so I guess it doesnt save it anywhere inside at all and the battery is what is powering the save feature. I bet that's probably the case for the Saturn and 3DO if they ever die out but again havent checked to confirm if replacing the battery deletes everything. Word to the wise then, if in doubt and if you buy an old console just swap the battery out immediately so you wont have to worry for hopefully 20+ years.
  7. I burned a copy of the Game Guru. It let's you access the save Manager on the FZ-1 but I don't think it ADDS any extra storage right? Just allowing access to it? Been a while since I messed with it. But I do agree that the storage size on the 3DO is ridiculously low. I had to delete some of the larger games like "Hell" because it fills the whole damn thing up!
  8. Jesus Christ this post is a few days old and already at 4 pages? Post-whoring anyone?
  9. Looks cool man! My son loves sharks and would probably enjoy watching me play this one.
  10. For my it would be Cybernoid all the way! But Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters would be a close second!
  11. Yeah that's what happened on mine. It got to the Shredder scene and then it just stopped. Froze on the shredder and then scene 2 never started at all. Might have been my flash since the video shows it looking all good. Hey btw are there cheat codes for more credits on this one? I don't know if that existed back in the Atari ST days. The only way I was ever a yo beat this game on the NES was with more credits.
  12. Ah. That's my bad for never playing an ST. Was curious about it. The only one I've played of this was the NES one
  13. That's the one. See on the first level it shows orange for the headband for Michelangelo and then the bottom is blue bands? When I got to that shredder scene at the end it just stopped for me. I can reflash it and check it out again.
  14. I figured you finished it. I went back through the threads and it was in the Atari ST ports thread you posted on April 4, 2019 it was called TeenageMutantHeroTurtles-Skunk.rom that is the one I tried, flashed it twice and that's what it did was the random issues I mentioned.
  15. On the version being sold on cart it is complete with all of the levels? I figure it must be but wanted to confirm. I have the TMNT Skunk version of the rom and it only plays the first level and that is it, plus there are glitches on the character where the headband is the color of the character I chose and the bottom bands are a different color, and sometimes when jumping to do side kicks the characters glitch to the other character from the bottom color if that makes any sense.
  16. I have too many consoles and too many hooked up that I had to buy 2 additional shelving units to be able to mount even half of them. The jaguar CD have a higher profile so it sits up top so I can open it and fit the carts inside and the CDs in. I had to go buy a 4 foot 12 outlet power strip from harbor Freight for use with all of them. if you think 2 plugs is bad you might not have a Genesis/Sega CD/32X that needs 3 of those damn bricks plugged in! I have one of those input selectors like you are talking about too. My issue with my selector is I tried to upgrade all my systems to S-Video that were able to do it, and I have a 4 input S-Video switch, but the internal grounding seems to be off so I get checkerboard on the systems when using that but not when plugged directly into the TV. So for my Jaguar Dilemma I plug the Jaguar directly into the CD so I get no checkerboarding and then 4 systems into the switch box and just deal with the checkerboarding on the screen.
  17. I'll send you a PM soon for the ones I now need. Basically the Jag CD games and the Jaguar overlay.
  18. Hey I wanted to rehash this one as I had someone on the Atari Jaguar Fans Facebook page really like the BSG one I got from you. At the time I didn't have a Jag CD so I didn't order the ones for those games. But if you're still making any of these can I order the Jag CD ones?
  19. Both of mine also had the hologram sticker. That reminds me then yeah one was the Power Kit and the other has Cybermorph printed on the box. One was from Kaybee Toys when they were clearanced for $29.99
  20. As for the insides both of mine were brand new when I got them but I've never seen that cool poster before!
  21. I have 2 different CIB units and one has Tiny Toons on the back and the other has Battle Wheels on the back. One has an American Flag on the front a d the other doesn't. One also has cybermorph printed on the box and the other has it as a decal instead. I don't know how many box variations there are tho.
  22. Were you asking because you wanted to buy it or did you find it in the wild?
  23. Were you asking because you wanted to buy it or did you find it in the wild?
  24. Soulstar is is favorite Sega CD game. Would be excellent to have a complete version for the Jag. I have that 1 level partial version and it's still awesome!
  25. It was the pale one like you said. The problem I had was when I got to the end I couldn't do anything. Just kept scrolling congratulations on the top. I didn't know how to go any where else so I just turned it off. I guess to make it to 2+ I'd have to replay level 2 again?
