Create and burn eproms for standard Jaguar 2 chip cartridges
UHATEIT replied to rayik's topic in Atari Jaguar
I had found that out a while ago when I wasn;t getting any of the roms to show up in Skunkgui to load onto a skunk. Changing from .j64 to .rom fixed all of them! -
Odyssey 2 Brazilian releases - Price drop 5/28/19
UHATEIT replied to ScottyDont00's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I don't know if you happen to have one of these but do you have a 233 in 1 multicart? -
Odyssey 2 29 games 23 CIB 80 shipped to US, all sold
UHATEIT replied to masschamber's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Oh wow I really should have looked at this marketplace section! I need 10 of the titles listed in the first post! -
I had to use cheat codes to finish off Solar Ecclipse (on the Sega Saturn) as I was stuck towards the last couple of levels. I used cheat codes on Total Eclipse but still cannot get the whole dang thing beat. I need some sort of invincibility code as on one of the last couple of levels there are a bunch of turret guns you need to get aorund to get inside of some fortress/walls and I cannot seem to shake them enough to get past with enough life/hits left. I would love to beat that game tho it is superb!

Robinson's Requiem now available for the Jaguar CD
UHATEIT replied to Songbird's topic in Atari Jaguar
Finally made it past that section after letting my Jag cool off the last hour or so. Really odd but it froze up a good 10 times around the same place, even with clean disc n all. On the lower pages of this thread someone mentioned the sound clicking in the background. Mine does that the whole time, I thought maybe it was crickets at the beginning but now its just an ongoing "tap tap tap" After getting it to go as far as I could I climbed the path and eventually died and got my eyes poked out by the eagles. I killed one with ym laser then ran out of bullets and couldn't kill the other one. Someone mentioned the eagles earlier in the thread haha. -
Robinson's Requiem now available for the Jaguar CD
UHATEIT replied to Songbird's topic in Atari Jaguar
The whole screen turns black and it just stops, can;t do anything but turn the jaguar off then back on. Flippin lame. But none of my other games seem to have issues. -
Robinson's Requiem now available for the Jaguar CD
UHATEIT replied to Songbird's topic in Atari Jaguar
Ok cool I might try that. It's pissing me off that I can;t get past the same thing and sometimes not even get that far in. I will have to figure out how to rip my own CD and make a burned copy of it. I'm actually not sure how to do that. -
Robinson's Requiem now available for the Jaguar CD

I am rehashing this one and chiming in about the freezing issues. I bought an open copy of this the other day and got around to playing it today. it's been super frustrating with the freezes/bugs. I lost all my gameplay after I hadn't saved it because the screen went black. I have had it freeze on the loading screen, when you meet the first guy walking around, after killing him, trying to grab his items. The times where I can get past that and hit save but it will crash after that. Currently I cannot get past the first werewolf guy. I know where to find him and then get to him but everytime I shoot him the screen freezes and goes black then the sound makes a blip and it sits there on a black screen. Never to return. Sucks as I would really like to play this game but I guess this is a known issue if other people are having that same freeze issue at different points of the game. I don;t know how to tell what revision mine is but someone mentioned multiple batches. I have popped in other games and bene able to play for hours on end without this issue, even burned Jag CD games don;t do this to me. But this is the real deal game and it keeps doing this. Really sucks and not sure what to do! -
Maybe they are still making more and out of stock with the ebay orders and presales in the meantime.

All good. I read the first post but didn't know what unlocked meant. Action Fighter looked pretty cool. Those others I have the abs for but not any CD isos and didn't know if there actually we're CD versions of them but saw the CD artwork on the forum
-
Thanks for the info. I commented on another ST port thread about the same thing. I saw a bunch of CD cases made for some of the ST ports and couldn't find the Isos for them. Thought it was weird. The others were Mercenary, Action Fighter, Carrier Command, Slam Racer, and this one Starquake.
-
On the first page I see Action Fighter and it says complete in bold green, which if i read right means it's done. But there is no download link for that. I found online there was a box cover and then a CD cover. Was there also a CD iso of this one at some point? I had noticed this with some other ST ports that i found in rom or abs format but then saw CD box covers for them and figured some might have had CD isos made for them too (Mercenary, Action Fighter, Carrier Command, Slam Racer, Starquake) those are some I saw CD cover art posted on the forums but haven;t found CD isos of them.
-
Seeing as there is a DVD case and CD print made above for this, was there a CD iso for this released or just the ABS format?

Thats where it is unfortunate to hear that Telegames didn't have any inlays. That place was a huge help when i was working to get all my manuals and boxes and inlays to complete all my loose carts. But with how popular the Jaguar is these days it doesnt surprise me that people are snagging up boxes and inlays to complete their sets. I figured that would be the best place for you being in UK so shipping would be cheap and you could get as much as you needed in one stop. For the games that they didn;t have, I went on EBAY and had those custom clear cases with the insert paper made. They ran around $6 each and are easier to open and play the games from instead of opening the cardboard all the time. They just don't look as clean on the shelf as the real boxes! This was a picture of my collection last year and has regular boxes in order with some boxes that has the clear protectors on them and then the plastic cases as wlel. From the tops you can tell the difference but in person from the side they still look pretty close to the actual boxes, it looks is your thing.

This game still looks pretty fun, I'll be interested in it too when I see a review or so online. I know you mentioned in a post that Second Opinion Games should get his copy soon and he is likely to be one of the first video reviewers I imagine of the game.
-
I had 6 or so loose carts when I pulled out my Jag collection last summer and got back my collecting. I reached out to telegames (UK) which is good as it will be cheaper for you too. They were $1 each per insert and they also had $5 game boxes as well. I scored probably 20 boxes for my loose games, most were brand new and not even folded (including Doom) and then some were already folded but still had plastic wrap around the outside of them just slit open to take the games out. if anything that is where I would recommend especially if you also need some other boxes too. Edit: I see in the post you said Telegames doesn't That is too bad! That would have been a good option for not only the inserts but also the boxes. They have manuals too!

A game-selector-box for John Dondzilla's Odyssey 2 multicart
UHATEIT replied to Rolo's topic in Odyssey 2 / Videopac
It's surely very cool. I don;t have any soldering skills to make that. I need one of the Odyssey carts tho! -
As far as cheap games, since you mentioned Checkered Flag, you can get that for fairly cheap as well as Club Drive. Iron Soldier is great and can be had for $20 CIB depending where you look. Just search around on ebay for Jaguar game lots and you'll probably find a few for decent prices. if you have to spend some decent money on a game, definitely go for Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, and Skyhammer.

A game-selector-box for John Dondzilla's Odyssey 2 multicart
UHATEIT replied to Rolo's topic in Odyssey 2 / Videopac
I just found this thread, this is an awesome fix for that cart! I have placed myself on the waiting list for one of the carts if they are ever available when the backlog is finished. I would love to have one to play on my Odyssey! -
My dad and I used to play the original NES together all the time. I remember getting it for Christmas in 1990 right before my parents divorced. We played Duck Hunt with the gun and then Track & Field on the power pad. I remember going to the store and being so excited to buy Super Sprint with him. He was the one that got me by Jaguar in 1995 for $29.99 at Kaybee Toys and a few of the $5 games and taking me to every Kaybee around the area to get every game possible we could find. I don;t ever remember seeing any controllers out there at all, so I was never able to do any 2-player battles with him It wasn't until I discovered ebay in 2004 that I ever got a second controller.

Any love for Burning Soldier or Total Eclipse? They're right up there with Starblade for me on the 3DO.

Handy works great for me on my PSP. I know that's not the MAC situation the OP was asking for. But it's been really nice on the PSP in full color and nice looking screen. Saved me from having to get the McWill.

I'll agree it was probably fun for its time but as that genre moved on with games like Resident Evil being so much more immersive it just blows D out of the water. I love all the Resident Evil games as a huge fan of the series even the lame crappy ones that came out but as a fan I just had to play them all. I remember however getting Manhunt 2 on the Wii when it came out and I was all excited because it was one of the first M for Mature games on the Wii so it was pretty awesome. Makes me want to go back and try out Manhunt the original on the PS2. Definitely keep the reviews coming man. I am always down to hear others opinions of 3DO games!

Alright I've never owned or played this on the 3DO. I have it on the Saturn and beat it in about 1.5-2 hours or so on the first try. The graphics there have not aged well but Laura still looks somewhat hot for a digital age chick The gameplay was crazy slow on the Saturn so if the 3DO is about the same or worse I'd probably pass personally since I've done the Saturn one already. But as a gore and horror game fan I think this was a good starter game to the genre back when it came out. Once Resident Evil came out that changed everything for the horror genre. My personal favorite for survival horror is actually Manhunt 2, that shit was awesome!

Has anyone ever beaten Road Rash?
UHATEIT replied to Rick Dangerous's topic in 3DO Interactive Multiplayer
Fuck I wish! I'm currently trying it on Game Gear right now. I'd love to eventually beat it on one of the days systems I have it on!
