  1. I am a little lost on the bios in the folder part. I downloaded a whole romset and then unzipped everything and they are all in the same folder, but when i hit the Odyssey emulator and then load content and go to the folder and select the rom it says failed to load. I have tried clicking the bios as well and it says failed to load as well. All are in the same folder tho. I tried it with all the roms in a folder on the phones internal storage and then since they are all small put it on another folder on the SD card and both are unzipped and neither will load with the emulator.
  2. I downloaded a rom set and unzipped it but it still isnt loading the roms with the emulator from retroarch. I'll have to keep messing with it.
  3. Wow that's pretty sweet! I had wondered how you would get the inputs to work on it. I have the Odyssey disc burned for the Dreamcast and you have to press some random buttons to get anything to move at all. I'd love to try this on the retroarch app on my phone. I use the app to play Lynx and Virtual Boy on my phone.
  4. I never used that site since there are plenty of others to choose from. I can get just about anything I need from emuparadise and then I get the rest from doperoms or isozone for the ones I can't fine on emuparadise. Something I hate about isozone is it will only do one at a time and ALWAYS comes up with a crazy popup that often will freeze the entire internet and all tabs. Causing me to have to restart the internet/engine again and go tot he site and search again and restart the download.
  5. As for some CD games I would say the ones I recommend are Battlemorph, Hover Strike, and IS2 which are all already said. However there are some nice homebrew ones that are fairly cheap for the Jag CD as well that I recommend: Alice's Mom's Rescue, Philia, Elansar, Fallen Angels, and Tube SE. Cart wise you alreayd have a good list of the ones you plan to snag. If you decide to get a skunkboard for $100 shipped it's a great deal to try out all the ST ports and homebrew games for the jag that are on cart. Some of the CD games I mentioned are also in rom format and can be played on the skunk (Fallen Angels and Tube SE) and are pretty fun!
  6. Awesome! Well I found the codes listed online with 2 different variations. I just couldn't get the invincibility one to work, while the others work. Otherwise what is stupid is at the end of the code you press the "X" which when you are actually doing it is also at the same point of quitting the game! So if the code doesn't go in right it will straight up quit the game. I really hate the whole master cheat then code option for this game and others that have a master code. But agree that the game is super hard and nearly unbeatable without codes! I'd love to finally beat this one so I could play the expansion and the sequel as well without just getting killed all the time!
  7. For me it's all about playing the game. I'm having fun with it despite not saving. I've been waiting two years thusfar for the SD cart and there will be a long ass wait list with all the noobs to the Jag scene wanting to get one. I've enjoyed my skunk the last 2 years.
  8. Just buy one! It's worth it! Since having the skunk board I likely won't need to buy the SD cart. I can get everything on there anyways and I don't really care about the save states/high scores anymore.
  9. I sent an email to packrat about one of these. Per his site is looks like they are sold out and possibly not making anymore while he might do a revision sometime in 2018. Anyone know where I can find one of these or if anyone on here had one for sale?
  10. So download the newest OS and save it on the hard drive, copy all my uploaded games to the hard drive. Format the SD card to FAT 32 and then drag the new OS and games back to the SD? The games themselves don't have to be updated to fat 32?
  11. This looks very snazzy! I really want to get this one!
  12. It's super hard, I seem to do fine with the bullets/missiles but when I get to certain parts it get blasted and my health just shoots way down and I die. There are Invincibility codes but some are different than others and I can NEVER get them to actually work when I do everythign the instructions tell me to do!
  13. I couldn't find a dedicated thread about this but if someone does please link me to it! I have a Sega Game Gear Everdrive that has OS v4 on it. I was looking online and saw that there is an update all the way up to v9 which ads different functions. I am affraid to update it and lose what I have so I want to ask you guys on here. If I download and then update the OS, it says that it will no longer have fat16 and be fat 32 (I don;t understand what that means anyways) but does that mean that all of the games I have loaded onto the system will then be erased, or no longer work, or do I then have to reform those games (I don;t know how to) and then reload them to the unit? I'd like the update but I don;t want to lose everything that is on there. Hope someone in this 91 page thread has the GG Everdrive and can assist on the OS update!
  14. I have 2 in my house. This is a 36 inch Sony Trinitron XBR, one of the top of the line, came with the attached stand as well. This thing has some killer sound! I added an $11 Target shoe rack to the bottom which fits great so it allows me to stack extra systems under it. Only problem with this flat type CRT is that it doesn;t register light gun shots. So I have a 36 inch Sanyo in the man cave that i have spare Saturn, PS1, and Dreamcasts hooked too for lightgun support
  15. Alright I have been trying to beat this game for months and am having a hard time. Once you get to Level 3 (Las Vegas) It seems near impossible to survive. So there are cheat codes for this game posted all over the internet but I have tried to activate the "Invincibility" code and no matter what I do it will NEVER activate it. Therefore I always die. Have any of you that play Shockwave been able to activate the Invincibility code or can confirm if what code (button presses) is incorrect online and know the correct code? I would love to be able to beat this one!
  16. You sir are the man. I wish I had the skills to do stuff that cool!
  17. I have ordered a grip of stuff from them. All of the stuff was new/sealed and for great prices! Shipping was a bit since I am in the USA but the prices on items was fantastic! I was able to find plenty of new games, and then missing boxes, manuals, and white holders for my loose games to help make them CIB!
  18. That totally explains it. I thought it was hard to shove the Pro Controller into the port and just went with it but when stuff didn;t work I had to really jam it in there. I haven't unplugged it since then but that's good to know it affects the regular ones again so if I have the same issue as you I'll just wiggle the regular controller in the port. That really is odd that it is like that. Are they made by different companies?
  19. I bought a used lynx model 1 that had no power adapter. I got a generic $4 ebay adapter and it works like a charm! it is the 3.5 x 1.35 mm plug adapter version. I found that out and types it into ebay and it popped up nice and cheap! Mine was also a 9V I will say tho, that the slot itself in the body/shell of the lynx is somewhat flimsy and I think that is just how the lynx is which is probably why those things seem to break off the board easily.
  20. Hopping in here for a quick question as well. This flashback will NOT allow you to also load and play Lynx games right? That was kind of my hope if i get one of these!
  21. Cart rot kind of like disc rot on Sega Saturn Games
  22. grab multiples for sure! So when they start getting to the prices of Another World and Battlesphere you have a good nest egg
  23. Thats what i ended up finding out. I scored it on the cheap and then thought WTF is it broken??? I noticed it was harder to push in initially and just left it as such, then when the buttons didnt work and I used the Mathias Domin controller tester app on the skunkboard it wasn;t working then I jammed the damn thing in there and it started working. I was flipping out that I got a broken Pro Controller. Alas it was all good!
  24. I got a Pro Controller a week ago and some of the buttons weren't working for me (right shoulder and the Z button) but all the rest were working fine. I noticed the plug needed to be pushed in a lot more than my regular controller it seemed, this one was tough to get into the console port too. Once I did that it was all good thank god!
