  1. Very true! I just can't figure out how to burn the homebrew games. IMGBurn doesn't seem to want to recognize the homebrews for me
  2. I got a Samsung N501 with a remote and an HPI Warrior controller for $40 from a local guy and he threw in a free copy of Freefall 3050AD. Also got the Panasonic 3DO FZ-1 and 5 games from the same guy
  3. yeah that controller with box looks professional as fuck! As for gifts for myself I am pending to try and get a Jaguar banner for my game room. Otherwise I splurged and bought myself a Panasonic 3DO and a Nuon a couple of weeks ago while I could get a good deal on them! Also ordered a Flashboy for my Nintendo Virtual Boy that's in the mail now (Not Jaguar related but still gaming related)
  4. While this doesn't help answer the question I like that you made an s-video/composite combo! I bought the composite from the UK then decided to upgrade to the s-video from the USA and the s-video does not have the yellow cable with it as well, so it's s-video only. I wish it still had the yellow so I could still use composite as I have some TVs that don't have s-video ports and if I take it to one of those I won't be able to use it. Would be nice to have a combo!
  5. AH! I did think it was pretty hard! It's too bad there isn't a version on the Sega Saturn. it is interesting to see someone linked above that it exists on the Dreamcast which I also have and may snag that since the price is pretty low!
  6. I've been playing the 3DO version since I can't access the ROM for this I have on the Jaguar. I have a rom that says 4096kb which is the same size as all the other 4MB roms I have that work but for some reason after this one flashes it just goes to a black screen and will never load. Ah well the 3DO version (Out of this World) is pretty great!
  7. This is awesome! You have some pretty cool stuff dude. I've talked to you on ebay before about the clear carts and red carts. I got impatient back a couple months ago and got a clear instead of the red for my skunkboard but you have some awesome stuff! I am glad you are also working on that procontroller as well!
  8. did you do this by just changing it from .cof to .rom? I had been curious about trying that. I am at work now so I can't try it but that would be nice! I was able to get this to load yesterday using CJ's advice I just picked it in SkunkGUI and hit Go but deselected the "Is Flash?" box which would have flashed it to a specific bank. Worked great! now I can try .ABS as well
  9. I played this again yesterday, it is quite fun. Could benefit from music or some "pew pew" sounds when shooting tho haha! Again the 3DO level is excellent as well. Now that I have a 3DO I don't want to shoot them down!
  10. I tried it yesterday when you posted it on Facebook (I'm that dude) and it is great! I will try V2 tonight and see if it fixed those scan lines. Thanks again!
  11. CJ you are the man. I tried that on skunkGUI just selecting the file and deselecting the "Is Flash?" box and then hit Go and it booted right up, no flash. And that means it won't take place over one of my bank 1 or 2 flashes then which is great! Thanks for the help
  12. for me it might have to do with the sizes. As I just tried an ABS that was a larger size of a game and it worked, then a larger sized COF and it worked. But the ones that unzipped some to under 1000 kb just don't seem to load/flash properly for me.
  13. ah well. sending them to the skunk just doesn't work for me. Never has for any .cof or .abs as I said have never vbeen able to get Jiffi to load. It's ok tho there are still plenty of others that send/load/flash perfect for me with skunkGUI.
  14. I tried it with skunkGUI as I have never been able to get Jiffi to work. I think it's my laptop not allowing that program to run as whenever I try to load it pops up then disappears super fast. It's weird. But skunkgui will go through the whole erase and load process but come up blue at the end for all .cof or .abs files.
  15. I really enjoy Tube SE! I wish tho that it would actually save the games. Once you get past level 9 you need it to save or when you restart the Jag to play again it loses the progress. Also never saves fastest times. I have the actual cart of it. I was not able to get my skunkboard to load it due to the format. Is the one you found .cof format? That's all I could find and it won't load.
  16. Do you have a store somewhere in Utah? My family lives in Ogden and I will be headed out there for Christmas this year from Denver.
  17. I watched this yesterday when it was posted to facebook. Pretty cool experience! Someday I hope to have the same!
  18. I had forgotten about this, throw me on the second batch list! I like that you can use any of the SNES cables since you mentioned even the component cables, so perhaps that alone will increase the looks of the Jaguar. I was disappointed when I ordered some custom svideo cables from a seller and they do not include the yellow cord as well so you can switch from svideo to AV if desired, so I would be stuck having to buy another set of AV cables as well to switch ports on the TV to allow for other Svideo cables to be connected. This would be more cost efficient!
  19. I was going to say that other multicart haha dammit beat me to it!
  20. This invention will be the greatest thing since sliced bread!
  21. I have one of these, in blue. I actually prefer that with the holes punched out vs the Iron Soldier 2 you have up top. I understand covering the screws as you really shouldn't have to open them up, but it leaves the potential of holes getting poked in. My 18 month old son poked holes in my Cannon Fodder
  22. ok cool, thanks dude. I have had issues getting ABS to work but ROMs work. Had been curious if it was a different version with more bug fixes. If this gets polished up this could be quite nice!
  23. I had seen that chart before and pulled my serial number. Does anything really matter on the age? On some systems people like to have the oldest or more original or serial #1 or whatever. I had been curious who might even have the oldest model here or what was considered to be the first one produced. My model is M249001189 so based on the chart it is a JVC Macbashi Factory, made in September 1994 and unit #1189 produced I guess. Not sure if that is considered newer or older by other's standards or numbers they have.
