Was testing out my Retron77 that I received today. PacMan 8k, Double Dragon and Princess Rescue rom's. While testing out Princess Rescue, this happened... RETRON77_Joystick_Damaged_20180710.mp4 Guess I'll be contacting Hyperkin for one of their improved units.

Any difficulties getting it loaded? Some possible pointers for those getting their hands on these? (Mine arrives tomorrow)

Would it be possible to splice two SIO cables (one male and one female) in parallel to have SIO signal pass-thru for daisy chain? I did something similar on a 600XL where I spliced SIO connection inside and mounted a SIO2PC USB inside the unit. Still able to use the female socket for SIO daisy chain.

Salvation Army Columbus, OH had 4 Atari cartridges. today for $6.99 a piece. Complete BS! Never would I imagine common games to be that much.

I wish I did. That [email protected]@rd bought the whole lot of them a few months ago on ebay for $19.99 a piece. Now he's selling them randomly one at a time for an astronomical amount because they are now "rare"...

UnoCart (a new multi-cart) - orders/pre-orders thread
NISMOPC replied to electrotrains's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
For the RX0001, you should consider replacing the zero's "000" with actual upper case O's "OOO". It will look more true to the ATARI font used. Other than that, AWESOME JOB!! -
It's stated the OS is on the SD Card, so that would lead me to believe the SD card is included and from what I've read/understood, the roms are loaded on SD card as well.

Let me know if this works! Also, as stated before, I did this just to see if I can. Hope it works for you. You'll probably need to install the following fonts as well or it will not show properly. (Included in zip file) Salzburg-Bold (Cartridge Title Font) Salzburg-Regular (Cartridge Information Font) Hammer Fat (ATARI font) ATARI 8-Bit Labels.zip -

AA does not allow *.docx extensions and I am not sure what file extension I could save it under that is permissable. PM your email and I can send to you. Thanks -
Will be delivered tomorrow. Stoked to find it with original box and all the documents. Currently have an 850, but always loved the compact size of the P:R: and having no power supply is a plus in my book... (ebay photo)

commander gave me the idea for this finishing touch on my UnoCart with his THE!CART label designs found here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/215811-thecart-new-128mb-flash-cartridge/page-35 I'm no pro, have no special software or templates and decided to try my hand at making a custom label using Microsoft Word 2010. Started with downloading the most accurate fonts and installing them. I then created a custom 2.0625" x 2.125" size template and went to work. Just printed it on standard printer paper using my HP OfficeJet 3833 inkjet printer, cutting it out with a paper trimmer/cutter and using a few strips of double sided 3M scotch tape. It's not perfect, but [email protected] is it sexy and the best part is the LED status lights still show thru perfectly as if it was meant to be there. Honestly, just did it to see if I could and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the outcome.

COREi64 generally builds these to sell. Doesn't release the STL, but maybe this is an open design. -
THAT IS AMAZING! Yes... ...are you planning to sell and for how much? Put me on that list!!!

Love the compact size. Can not wait to get mine!

Ask and ye shall receive... Looks perfect! Like it was meant to be... ...plan to shave out some of the plastic case so I can easily access the SD card with the metal cover removed. -
UnoCart (a new multi-cart) - orders/pre-orders thread
NISMOPC replied to electrotrains's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
UPDATE! I originally modified a CBS Software cartridge to house my UNO, but today decided to go one step further and use a true ATARI cartridge. Had to shave a small amount off inner lip for the SD slot to fit correctly and of course drill the button hole. Used a tactile button cover to finish off the button (larger diameter). My next step is to create a slot in the top UNDER the metal cover to access the SD Card without destroying the metal. Just remove the cover and access will be a breeze, then create an ATARI style label to complete the look. The best part is the slot in the case is perfectly located where the LED displays the activity of the cart. Did not have to modify that at all. NOTE: I ad to show off my 600XL with upgraded 64K onboard memory and Jurgen's (tf_hh) 512K memory expansion while I was at it... -
600XL w/512K Expansion board and DIN composite out - DONE!
NISMOPC replied to NISMOPC's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Per Jurgen (tf_hh), I need to leave it. I have a 800XL I also added the 512K to, so if it really ends up bothering me, I'll just swap systems. I've got plenty of systems to swap between, so no biggie. -

The newer/faster memory takes longer to dump when the system is turned off. There is really no difference in boot times between all "stock" 8-bits no matter the model or amount of stock memory.
