Check out my gallery - I am always changing it around, but the avatar is probably the closest to how it is right now...

I initially was attempting to use a Lantronix UDS-10 and also got mixed research results and responses. So I also have both cables. In the end the CX-87 is what I needed, especially when I went to the wimodem232.
-
For reference, this is my set-up currently: 130XE => 1050 (1) => 1050 (2) => 850 => SIO2PC => PC || CX-87 || wimodem232
-
The "terminal" cable is a NULL modem cable. You need the "modem" cable. Did you purchase the CX-87 or CX-88 or both?? The CX-87 "modem" cable is was is needed. If you purchased the CX-88, you might get away with using another NULL modem adapter inline to reverse it, but no guarantees that will work.

Haven't thoroughly checked, but the phonograph has a fine-tune speed adjuster. It might need "tuned". I replaced the belt on it and just left it as it was.

I have the 850 ==> CX-87 modem cable ==> wimodem232 Using the latest version of Ice-T, I have to load the ATARI850.HND handler first, then load Ice-T. It works perfectly. NOTE: On first set-up you have to set the baud rate to the wimodem default rate of 300. After the wimodem232 is set-up and can be detected by the terminal program, then you can go up to 9600 baud.

Not sure if the 512k board overrides onboard RAM, but I purchased one of these... (works on all XL/XE 8-bit) http://atariage.com/forums/topic/277204-some-new-not-really-hardware-made-by-tfhh/

Guys I do not own one of these, but I gave it a shot translating the manual the best I could (Google translation) and formatted to look like the German manual. I did NOT provide ANY screenshots because, as stated, I do not own one of these. So if someone wants to use this as a template and add screenshots with English translations, that would be great. Let me know if this would work for you and you guys can take it from here! I will need to email the original *.docx to you though since this is a *.pdf version attached. SIO2SD 3.pdf

7800/NES/2600 Lot a few rare gems make an offer
NISMOPC replied to rjchamp3's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Ridiculous. You've been on eBay since 2006 and have only 202 feedback. Within that feedback, you have a few negative and neutral responses. I find it interested that they complain about your attitude and inappropriate responses exactly the same as the members here do. You are a real piece of work. Go peddle your sh!t somewhere else... What I don't get is I've been a member on eBay since 2000 and I have not even received a NEUTRAL response, but you consider yourself a top seller? Move on... -
Apollyon - New Alien based game for the Atari 2600

Trying to understand opening phrase. IN SPACE NOONE CAN HERE THEY... SCREAM! Should it say IN SPACE NOONE CAN HERE THEM... SCREAM! ?? Just wanted to make sure I wasn't misunderstanding. Game play looks insane! -

My bad... ...force of habit. Past few items I posted for sale on here did not get any interest even though asking prices were well below what they normally go for, so I automatically list on ebay now due to that and eat the cost.

OT: This is for all you 3D printer owners...

WOW! I had something very similar to that when i was a kid from Children's Palace. Only it was actually enclosed in a cardboard case, not the plastic. Was able to talk to "truckers" on their CB's lol. Illegal from what I recalled, but I had fun at the time... "Breaker 1-9! Breaker 1-9" -
If you are still interested, I listed the XEGS on ebay... http://atariage.com/forums/topic/277155-atari-xegs-in-original-box-gun-controller-power-rf-cableswitch/

Cleaned up, tested and ready to go. Does not come with any manuals and the joystick is a standard black instead of the XE version. More details in the action listing. Starting bid is $0.99 with free shipping! SOLD! https://www.ebay.com/itm/332602970092

It was part of the entire lot pictured. After I clean it and test functionality I might be selling it. I'm just overwhelmed right now with all that was included. So far I cleaned and tested the 2600, 800XL and 400. They all work. 2600 board had to be flushed with electronic cleaner and case washed. 800XL worked first try and still needs a good case scrub. 400 speaker was detached and bouncing around and the lid would not close due to metal shield in wrong location.

I received these in a lot today and I do not own an ST. Mainly an 8-bit collector. Would anyone be interested in these and is there any value to them? I have no need for them, but thought someone on here might be interested. Two of them are stamped in red ink DEMO. I assume it means they are not full games and not pre-release promotional DEMO's, but not familiar with ST software. I also have no way to test them to see if they work. Thanks!

UnoCart (a new multi-cart) - orders/pre-orders thread
NISMOPC replied to electrotrains's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Yes. It will for in any standard cartridge case. I modified the Krazy case slightly. My goal is to use an Atari case. It for, just haven't done it yet. Biggest issue is the SD card access. -
So, finally got my 8-bits online after 30+ years. 8-bit => 850 => CX-87 => wimodem232 v2 => WiFi I am running Ice-T and every version I test emits an annoying continuous high pitched sound. The pitch changes if I change the Baud rates. Slower baud, lower pitch. Is this normal? Is there something I can do to get rid of that other than [MUTE]?
-
So, I wondered about the phone number that is handwritten on the cartridge? I just googled it: Kantronics Address: 1202 E 23rd Street 66046 Lawrence , KS United States Email address: [email protected] (link sends e-mail) Phone (U.S. and Canada): 913-842-7745 Fax: 785-842-2031 Web Address: http://www.kantronics.com/ GO FIGURE!
