  1. Simius - your inbox appears to be full and not accepting any more messages. I would like to purchase one 4MB upgrade board. Payment can be sent ASAP. Please PM me details. Thank you!! -Brandon
  2. Really depends on the shape it is in and if it came with original box and/or manuals, etc. Post pics?!
  3. New in box Compumate matched up with my composite mod Vader. Match made in heaven...
  4. I thought about this already as well. The other one is non broken, so it could be done. Not sure.
  5. Might just modify one with a HAPP joystick, low profile arcade button on right and a steering pot on left. Hmm... Haven't seen that done before.
  6. Over past 3 months I've acquired three CX-22's. - One of them works flawlessly. - One of them has warped clip on encoder wheels (C020571 Rev 3) causing jittering and malfunctioning movement. - One of them has warped press on encoder wheels (C020571 Rev 5) causing jittering and malfunctioning movement. I contacted Bradley at Best and he no longer has any replacements, but gave me the hack tip of heating them with hair dryer, etc. Here is the issue, I accidentally broke one of the press on wheels last night while dis-assembling. Anyone know where I can get replacement encoder wheels? Anywhere? Leads? Would love to get all three working. Well, the other two since one is working.
  7. Have you tried the RF out using a RF to COAX adapter to see if it works that way? Would be a start. also, if your cable is not proper, the plug colors will be different as SignGuy81 suggests. I have a generic DIN to RCA (Y/B/R/W) that definitely does not match color wise to what I would expect. Yellow is Composite Video and Black is Audio. Red and white are not used. I also have a Best Electronics DIN to RCA (Y/R/W) and the colors are correct. As they should be.

  9. So funny that he signed them without your consent... ...but I still consider them a value only Atari fans would appreciate. Good luck with the sale!!!
  10. Just listed on ebay for $0.99 (starting bid) + FREE SHIPPING. SOLD! Saving one ATARI at a time!

  12. These were packaged with new junior's overseas, so they were marketed for both units, just not in the US
  13. 2 chips were defective. Can't recall which two though. I've fixed a few 65XE's and seems like most of them have 1 or 2 bad. One unit I put all NOS TI chips in. The others, I just replaced the bad one's with good mT chips from the unit that got all NOS TI chips. ALL of the units got socketed
  14. Yup! Saved a few 65XE's with these. No reason they shouldn't...
  15. Rcvd one in a huge lot I purchased off ebay a few months ago. Is in great shape and even came with AtariArtist cartridge. Worked perfectly but the protective cover saw better days. Best Electronics also sells replacement protective sleeves!! Bought one from Brad.
  16. My guess is a previous owner had a ROM burner and borrowed all his friends cartridges to burn his own collection. Just a complete assumption on my part, but $5k is freaking ridiculous!
  17. Found this on another thread regarding what you did: - 4264 is 65Kbit all right, but organized as 4x16K, not 1x64K like the 4164 - 4264 is backward compatible with the 4164 but the 4164 is not upward compatible. That would be why it did not work.
  18. I've used those on 65XE's with great success. Bought them on ebay NOS. Here is one of the units I fixed replacing the mT units with sockets and TI chips.... Original non-socketed mT DRAM NOS socketed TI RAM
  19. Going to quote some descriptive select words from the masses... Well, love it or hate it, this beautifully hideous, heinous, awkward, ugly and big unit SOLD. All packaged up with layers of bubble wrap, snuggled in a blanket of popcorn, encased by a wall of styrofoam. It'll be on it's way to it's new owner tomorrow. Somewhat sad in a way to see it go, especially with the time spent on it and the mods, but I'm a ATARI collecting hobbyist who keeps what he wants, sells what he doesn't, and am ready for the next project(s). I've got "more fish to fry" or is it More Atari's to Save!?!?!
  20. Try GameStop online. They have deals with their premium refurb's and they come with 2 games as well as a wii controller. Cheaper than just the refurb'd units they sell in-store.
