  1. So, I have a light sixer. When I turn it on it is black & white (grey shades). If I switch between B&W and color, there is definitely a difference in shades of grey. B&W setting is more defined where color setting is lighter shades of grey. All graphics appear on the screen, so not missing anything there. Here's where it gets odd. If I change the channel on the TV (tube TV) from say 2 to 3 then back to 2, the console is in full color. Perfect picture. As soon as I power off the unit and turn it back on, color is gone. This does not matter if I am on channel 2 or 3 on the console or the TV. Just changing the channel and then going back to set channel do I get full color. I have tuned both the color and red tower pods with no positive results. Still grey, no color. Using an RF to COAX adapter. Works perfectly with all my other units. Thoughts?
  2. Decided to list my 2600 cartridge collection since I went with the Harmony micro-SD cartridge. Have extra consoles too, so decided to add one to the listing and package it up. https://www.ebay.com/itm/332468005691
  3. You carefully have to pull it up and off of those two spikes. It will sort of "pop" off when done correctly. It is held in by friction at those two points. I just dealt with same scenario last week. Eventually popped right off. Good luck!
  4. Bump - lowered price and updated description - New drive belts in 1050 and 1010 - Added Joystick and games.
  5. Play only works during a CLOAD or a START-OPTION boot. Can't give any advice why FWD is not working...
  6. Hold down the Option key when booting 1200XL? It should load DOS prior to Ready prompt w/o Option, but give that a try maybe.
  7. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th images all have same rip in upper left corner of label as the action. I'd assume he has a legit copy based on that. I'm no expert on these, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express once (maybe).
  8. If you are referring to the generic one's, I purchased one and had to replace the internal stick on it within a few hours of playing. It cracked at the base near the pads. Once I replaced it with a real Atari stick, the thing seems to work great. Responsive and sturdy. Not sure if I just got a bad one or if they are all prone to break, but either way I am overall pleased with it.
  9. Off the top of my head, double-sided foam tape, but not sure until I actually have one to play with. Appears there are several different types. Encased and bare, etc. More than likely will purchase a bear one.
  10. I see they make MicroSD extenders so I might get one and add a slot on the top for a cleaner finish.
  11. Quick update. Fantastic, awesome, incredible... ...except for the case. So I decided to do something about it. Nothing fancy and not done yet, but here are the results from an extra CBS Software cartridge I had. - Shaved a tiny bit off two posts (45 degree angle so the UNO fit) - Drilled a hole for the reset button. - Lay UNO cart in place (perfect fit) - Put it all back together (one screw) - DONE! Will look into MicroSD card opening as well as programming connections, but since I have just about every possible 8-bit file I would ever want on there, no immediate need. Worst case scenario, remove one screw and remove MicroSD and/or re-flash, etc.
  12. That's a long throw from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Hopefully he has a strong arm...
  13. Or the WICO Command Control, but thinking they are not as cheap and hard to come by. I bought my Command Control new when I got my TI-99/4 at a ripe young age
  14. Was referring to yellow isn't always video, red/white isn't always audio, etc. for all units. Depends on if you don't care. I'm using a generic one on my TI-99/4A as stated earlier that uses black for audio, yellow for video and the others are unused.
  15. The problem with those cheap one's is they do not describe what pin goes to what RCA. Not all 5 pin DIN units (8-bits, Commodore, Sega, TV's, Monitors, etc.) use the same pin out as each other, yet they all have 5 pin DIN. So you have no idea what you are getting or if it will work...
  16. That's more like it! Made by Atari users for Atari users. Probably on par with the Best Electronics except this one has S-Video and is cheaper. NICE!
  17. Have you by chance tried the LINE B input on the monitor? Also, that's some funky adapter set-up Sony has on that monitor. Have you used composite units on it before with no issues? Are there settings in the menu to switch between composite and other inputs?
  18. You'll like the CX-22. I just received two in a bundle I bought. Cleaned both of them inside and out, but one trak-ball is jittering randomly all over the screen. The other one works flawlessly. I'll get back to the issue one some day.
  19. Provide a picture or link to the DIN ==> RCA connector. There are several out there and not all of them are the correct orientation. Example: Red/White do not always mean Audio Out, etc. I bought a generic one off ebay and it uses Yellow for Video Out and Black for Audio Out. Red/White cables are not used. I use that one on my TI-99/4A and bought a Best Electronics one for my 8-bits.
