No, they have different labels.
The 2nd, 3rd and 4th images all have same rip in upper left corner of label as the action. I'd assume he has a legit copy based on that.
I'm no expert on these, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express once (maybe).

You can get newly-made CX-40s around for about $20 each. I have not read any reviews on how well they stand up to the originals, though.
If you are referring to the generic one's, I purchased one and had to replace the internal stick on it within a few hours of playing. It cracked at the base near the pads. Once I replaced it with a real Atari stick, the thing seems to work great. Responsive and sturdy. Not sure if I just got a bad one or if they are all prone to break, but either way I am overall pleased with it.

This is a pretty good idea. I've got an extra cartridge or two sitting around so I might actually think about giving my UNO Cart a full sized cartridge upgrade. How do you think that you might go about securely attaching the micro SD extension to the cartridge shell though?
Off the top of my head, double-sided foam tape, but not sure until I actually have one to play with. Appears there are several different types. Encased and bare, etc. More than likely will purchase a bear one.

I can't tell you how many times that I've thought I was *absolutely* finished adding games to my SD card only to find that there was indeed something else that I wanted. It's been almost a week now since I put a new game in the card so maybe I'm finally done with it but I wouldn't be too surprised if something else pops up one of these days.
I see they make MicroSD extenders
so I might get one and add a slot on the top for a cleaner finish. -
Quick update. Fantastic, awesome, incredible...
...except for the case. So I decided to do something about it. Nothing fancy and not done yet, but here are the results from an extra CBS Software cartridge I had.
- Shaved a tiny bit off two posts (45 degree angle so the UNO fit)
- Drilled a hole for the reset button.
- Lay UNO cart in place (perfect fit)
- Put it all back together (one screw)
- DONE!
Will look into MicroSD card opening as well as programming connections, but since I have just about every possible 8-bit file I would ever want on there, no immediate need. Worst case scenario, remove one screw and remove MicroSD and/or re-flash, etc.

That color offset when you use a LUMA (monochrome) output is a result of color signal 'leaking' into the LUMA circuits. You will normally get that effect if you plug your LUMA output into the COMPOSITE input of your monitor.
Not a bad cable - normal for the circumstance. Throw it my way?

Or the WICO Command Control, but thinking they are not as cheap and hard to come by. I bought my Command Control new when I got my TI-99/4 at a ripe young age

-
um what do you mean.... 5 pin one pin is ground that leaves 4 pins of signal .... there are 4 plugs... one for each pin... cake!
Was referring to yellow isn't always video, red/white isn't always audio, etc. for all units. Depends on if you don't care. I'm using a generic one on my TI-99/4A as stated earlier that uses black for audio, yellow for video and the others are unused.

People.....you don't need "special" cables for composite.
Just get a GENERIC 4 lead DIN to RCA cable and you're set !
They are usually cheaper because they are "not specially for Atari" blabla....
$3,89......SHIPPED....
Compare to B&C's ridiculous price for the same cable:
CAA005 Cable Monitor Color 4-RCA 14.95
The problem with those cheap one's is they do not describe what pin goes to what RCA. Not all 5 pin DIN units (8-bits, Commodore, Sega, TV's, Monitors, etc.) use the same pin out as each other, yet they all have 5 pin DIN. So you have no idea what you are getting or if it will work...

Looks like I missed an important part. Oh well, I'll order another cable. This one looks good.
That's more like it! Made by Atari users for Atari users. Probably on par with the Best Electronics except this one has S-Video and is cheaper. NICE!

Have you by chance tried the LINE B input on the monitor? Also, that's some funky adapter set-up Sony has on that monitor. Have you used composite units on it before with no issues? Are there settings in the menu to switch between composite and other inputs?

So finally, I am getting a CX-22 and it will be arriving next week.
You'll like the CX-22. I just received two in a bundle I bought. Cleaned both of them inside and out, but one trak-ball is jittering randomly all over the screen.
The other one works flawlessly.
I'll get back to the issue one some day.

Provide a picture or link to the DIN ==> RCA connector. There are several out there and not all of them are the correct orientation.
Example: Red/White do not always mean Audio Out, etc.
I bought a generic one off ebay and it uses Yellow for Video Out and Black for Audio Out. Red/White cables are not used.
I use that one on my TI-99/4A and bought a Best Electronics one for my 8-bits.

No. The "wings" would be too wide to fit in each port of plug.

Just got the adapter today, from Amazon (Radio Shack by me is gone, found out the hard way). Although it still has some static, it looks far better, as seen in the pic. On a side note, I'm quite surprised all of these games on floppy still work (I think one didn't). I bought the 1050 and like 26 disks with 100+ games from Tim Duarte (The 2600 Connection founder) in 1991! Damn, what durability!
Now, the real fun starts tomorrow when the composite cable arrives. At least until I go RGB with the Rev.2...

My 1050 and floppies still work flawlessly since I've had new from the 80's. More reliable than SD cards these days.

I made a nice 600 DPI scan of this reference card.
https://archive.org/details/ProgrammersAidForAtariComputers
I can find nothing about M-WD, Inc., the publisher of the card. That's a terrible name for a company for searchability.

Hold down the Option key when booting 1200XL? It should load DOS prior to Ready prompt w/o Option, but give that a try maybe.
