yeah, I think last time I checked my Wii, I had 100 points. So would have to buy more points to use them. Still haven't decide whether to do that or not. Or is it too late now?

Nintedo had better hope I never have to get a new console if this is how their policy is. If I lose all the digital purchases due to a faulty system, the result is Nintendo loses all future purchases ever.

I will point out I've never had anything beyond a NES die on me - and that's always because of the pins bending on the connector of the sideloaders.

That's good about the 3DS! Thr original Wii shop servers have all shut down! Same with Wii U I think.
