  1. I've looked it over. It seems you need what they call a "driver" that is a Windows only binary to install the update. I'm not sure there is a safe way to do this from Linux or MacOS. There is NO mention of updating from SD.
  2. I've heard there might be a license issue with the Williams games, so if you are collecting you might wanna go get Rampage and Joust now. Also due to this dispute, Defender #09 is indefinitely delayed.
  3. Talos IV Arcade: Machines From Left to Right: Pac-Man (My Arcade), Retro Machine, Pac-Man (Basic Fun), Karate Champ, Dig Dug, Bad Dudes, Galaga, Retro Arcade Machine, Burger Time and Frogger. Players From Left to Right: Kirk, McCoy, Pike with Vina, Rand, Sulu, Spock with Uhura, Talosian, Checkov, Chapel and Scotty!
  4. Okay the FBG and SGFB are Android. If we can get the AFP in that flavor with some more emulation capability (Like running ALL of Atari's classic systems.) You will really have a killer system. Atgames has now crossed the quality Rubicon, keep it up!
  5. Atari should put their money into atgames and produce a quality box that can play all their old systems. If the FB Gold is Android they are already half way there.
  6. This just showed up on Walmart.com -- https://www.walmart.com/ip/Atari-Flashback-8-Gold-Activision-Edition-with-Build-In-130-Games-HDMI-Output-and-Two-Wireless-Controllers/500265566
  7. Looking forward that romset. I just discovered Pitfall! Trainer. Oh man the joy of playing endless Pitfall! I am stoked. Now I'm wondering what other gems hiding here on Atariage!
  8. Wow the PSVita case is a perfect fit. Too bad it says PSVita on it. Let us know when you finish out your ROM pack, and give us a list on what you came up with. Also, for sake of discussion, what is everybody's favorite game or games to play on your AFP? Mine top 10 are: 1. Superman 2. Donkey Kong 3. 4k Pacman 4. Asteroids 5. Beamrider 6. Pitfall! 7. Frogger (MB) 8. Missle Command 9. Yars' Revenge 10. Berzerk (portable hack by my hero Nukey Shay) Mind you I play many more but these seem to be my go to games. I find it funny that only 2 of these are built in games.
  9. So let's talk about how we use our portables... Mine has found a constant place in my pocket. It's true that there are many great handheld gaming devices out there, but this thing last 4-ever on a charge. Also, I find the classic Atari games are much more suited to whipping it out for some short play while in line or in a waiting room. Those games were designed after the arcade games of the time and were either repetitive or very short in nature. I can even play through Superman in around 4 to 5 minutes most of the time. I can go a while on Asteroids and Robot Tank but most of the games play out fast or you die off quick. These games were quarter eaters and just perfect for most of the situations I find myself in. For me it is the perfect pocket game system. BTW... I LOVE 4k Pacman!!!
  10. Yes but that's the first of the availability. That's all I was pointing out.
  11. And HERE WE GO!!! $69.99 @ Target https://www.target.com/s?searchTerm=flashback
  12. I have a retropie in an Old Skool NES style case with an 8bitdo NES30pro controller. It's great!!! but it does require some tinkering to get it working. I've seen some pre-configured kits on Amazon. I wonder if there's an Atari style case for them.
