The Background: I know there's probably some more specific forums, but I thought I'd throw this out there real quick and see what I get. I have a Sony Vaio laptop that has a bad motherboard but a sweet 19" LCD monitor. I've always wanted to install a monitor and game system in my vehicle, but wanted to wait untill I got a new one since my old one has been trying to die for the past 5 years. Well the van has died so I'm getting a new one soon so the time has come. The Question: If I take apart my laptop will I be able to find a power and signal converters that will allow me to install the monitor and run it off the car's battery? If it was a PC Monitor no problem, but I have no idea what to expect once I finally pop this thing open. Thanks

So I heard all you get are the crappy Star Glasses that can be found in the game anyway, is this true? But of course I wouldn't know since I live in the desolate region of Washington.
-
Arghhh, Why do I live in the middle of no where in Washington. I swear this state would have shit if it wasn't for Seattle which is on the oposite corner of the state from me.

This is all my extra crap from buying in bulk over the last year or two. Since I love games more than money I'd prefer to trade as much as possible, but money offers will be considered. Since I own and collect for almost every system I will trade for most anything I don't have. I have a very outdated list of my collection on Game Trade Zone (you can get to it through my Blog linked in my signature). I'll be updating it as soon as my computer is repaired, which should be later this week. Until then replies may be slow, but I look forward to any and all interesting offers awaiting me when I get a chance to check online, which will probably be Tuesday. I will test and send detailed descriptions and pictures of all your interested items. Thanks for browsing! Ummm, from what I understand it records the player's voice to do a voice pattern check for recognized commands so if the previous owner was say a 10 year old girl and you're a twenty something male the game may have a hard time recognizing your saying sit from the way the previous person said it. Plus they may have not even used the most obvious verbal command for each trick for example play dead could be "your dead" or "bang bang". So I'd start over if you want to have full control over your pooch. edited to say: I just read you can change the command phrase in the commands menu. Try that and see if it works.

This game is why I bought I DS. Still waiting on its arrival though. What can I say I'm a sucker for quirky games.
-
I hope not I just joined the DS family today and I'm really excited about trying out all of the really cool looking games. When I first heard of it I was thinking oh great more palm-type games, but they seem to really be utilizing the touch screen is some inovative ways. I can't really imagine why Nintendo would want to make a new Gameboy instead of DS, unless it was to still have that even cheaper offering out there in the portable market.
-
That's sad, but at least the cat had 15 years. I have two kitties that I love very much myself.
-
That's funny. There's actually a father and son and a wife and husband who are members of the Guild I'm in. Seems to be a big family game.
-
Thanks I'll test with my own and then get extras of those if successfull.

What is the heighth of SG M2 + 32X + CD M2
crveatch replied to crveatch's topic in Classic Console Discussion
My shelves are pull out thus I wont be accounting for Game Genie or cartridge height. When I want to play a game I'll just pull out the system. So I pretty much just need the height of what I specified. Your picture helped alot though. It's placement next to your gamecube gives a good point of reference. -
Uhhh yeah I think topic says it all.

I recently moved to Washington and about half of my video game systems went to Portland with friends who were moving at the same time. I haven't retreaved them yet and recently got an entertainment system from can-am.ca (don't go to can-am.com by mistake! ). I need to know the height of a Sega Genesis Model 2 with 32X and Sega CD Models 2 addons so I can leave enough shelf clearence. Thanks.

This thread really made me miss playing Dreamcast. I still haven't got everything set up since our move. *Sniff, Sniff* Oh Dreamcast, we hardly knew you. Pitty you had to die so young.
-
OK, I don't know what it's called and that's part of my problem in replacing it. But the part that connects the jumper pins on a harddrive to specify master or slave is missing. Where can I buy a replacement?

Something that could... attention Yesterday!

From one fellow N-gager to another, I feel your pain. You just have to stop going to EB. I know it's convenient to run there on your lunch break or whatever, but they'll only break your heart. I've never found a real deal there on anything and have always had much better lucky with online retailers. It pisses me off to hear some of the lies they tell parents without a clue. Even the EB Edge card never helped me out any besides the cool mag. -
What makes it better the 1600 dpi? I'm not really a fan of chorded anything anymore. I have my pc hooked up to my entertainment center and it's nice to sit back on the couch with a tray table and browse the computer on my television. And no offense about the trackball. I just never saw the advantage unless you have wrist problems or a tiny desk surface.
-
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check into it. As for the track ball, I'd rather shove my existing mouse up my ass and try to use it rather than use a track ball.
-
I just recently got into America's Army and was wondering if any veteran FPS gamers have any suggestions of the best gaming mouse. I currently use a 5 button Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 4.0, but my wife has stolen it for her laptop.

dittos. i'm very hapy with my n-gage. just make sure to get a big memory card from a reputable company. some of the cheaper cards have load time and data corruption issues.

Don't worry, they're out there. Try some of the "adult" titles. 853234 Yep, seems they are. I tried Mind Teazer and gotta say its a crappy porno game. Man , my russian porno games on the playstation are better 853917 i like the Japanese 3DO adult titles 854170 I GOT TO GET ME SOME OF THOSE! javascript:emoticon('') smilie Speaking as a collector of course. javascript:emoticon('') smilie Why My Smiley No Work? javascript:emoticon('') smilie

When are you going to do something like this again? I totally missed out the first time. -
N-Gage: My thoughts & your suggestions.
crveatch replied to Stingray's topic in Modern Console Discussion
I got an N-Gage QD two months ago along with a 1 Gig MMC and have been having a blast with it. My wife washed my last phone so I upgraded and the reception and signal are significantly better than before. Its awesome being able to play any old nes game on the go. And I really like watching movies and tv shows on the go. A nice alternative when I'm not in a gaming mood. With my Jabra 250 Bluetooth headset it's the best phone I've ever owned. -
Anyone actually have a Dreamcast DDR Setup?
crveatch replied to Clint Thompson's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Impressive. Most Impressive. -
Freaking badass! My hat is off to whomever's collection this is. Although if I stacked my games like that I'd first never be able to access the majority of them and second my cats would never rest till they had knocked off every last one.
