People seem to have a seething hatred for GameStop's retro selection. Sure you can't see it like on eBay but if you just expect cart/disc only, who cares? Their prices are good for loose games.

  What I do know is GS sterilized, sanitized, and corporatized the video game hobby (IMO)...Compare for instance, a couple of stores in Fort Collins or Denver, where you walk in and they have gobs of Retro games on display and you can look through them/at them and find all kinds of cool stuff for almost every imaginable console + controllers, + employees who don't look at you like a walking dollar sign.
