Some rare Mythicon promotional/display stuff
crunchysuperman replied to Crazy Climber's topic in Atari 2600
That is pretty cool! -
If it had controller text tape, I'd jump on it. Omitted versions like that aren't all that hard to find.

^ Damn, there's another one. I usually feel pretty good about my collection until threads like this pop up and start poking new holes in it.

Favourite Box Cover Art
crunchysuperman replied to iwan-iwanowitsch-goratschin's topic in Atari 2600
I always liked most of the unique Sears variants. -
Anybody got these? Miniature Golf (silver end label text) 3-D Tic Tac Toe (dark purple text, both labels) I don't have confirmation of their existence, but if they do, they're the only text labels I'm missing (that I'm aware of)

The insane realized Ebay Atari 2600 price thread.

It ain't his fault that it went that high - he started it out at $1. I've bought from him many times & he's never been unreasonable. Good for him to get a stupid bidding war on that POS cartridge. -
When did you get your first DVD player?

Question about setting up "automated" search on eBay
crunchysuperman replied to Albert's topic in Auction Central
My saved search emails are always waiting for me when I log on in the mornings. I don't know if they have one mass mailing or several throughout the evening, but I've never received one during the day. -
I don't know of one. The only re-release Combat boxes I'm aware of are similar to the old style, but with minor changes (1986 date, Warner logo removed, etc.)

You know, I really thought I had a white Astroblast. I guess that's another one I've overlooked. Space Attack I've had for some time.

That's really nice! Love the two different color cartridge halves!

White label Burgertime wasn't that big of a deal to find, actually. Frogs'N'Flies is another matter. I've never seen one - anywhere. Several folks say "oh, I know I've had dozens of those over the years" - right! Show me one, just one - somebody here whip one out of your collection & post a pic. I thought not. Closest I ever got was an auction about six months ago. If, in my searches, an auction doesn't show a pic, or spell it out as "Frogs and Flies", I investigate. This one seller replied that it was most certainly a white label, but it came off & she lost it right before the sale.

Great stuff! Always nice to see another label variation freak!
